Got here late lunch time. Nevertheless the staff made us welcome. We had a very good meal, lovely house wine to wash it down. We will definitely return.

It is a wonderful little family restaurant not far from Fatima. Definitely worth to check it out. It has a really nice atmosphere and delicious food, and the staff is very friendly. The portions are huge, I couldn`t eat all my meal, although it was very tasty. I would definitely go back again and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Located in an historical village with a funny name "pia do urso", (the place the bear use to drink), we had a small walk around, very nice indeed, and when we came back, we found this restaurant. The food is very good and very well served (go for half portion, it's more than enough, check pictures). The decor is nice... More

Went there for lunch since our airbnb host recommended them. All the food was great, even the "cover" starters. The owner (I think) speaks very little English, but some younger person was able to help. Anyway, we felt very welcome.

Second time we ate at this restaurant and visited the village, once again very happy. Great food specially the "Polvo Lagareiro" (octopus) and it really is octopus and not Pota, a cheap lookalike that some restaurants sell as octopus. Will definitely go again and recommend. *****

This was a total discovery for me, never had ear or read about the place, I was amazed. The village is a great place to visit and an excellent centre for BTT lovers. The restaurant is absolutely great. Great Portuguese food and jaw dropping when you get the bill, we were 9, we took starters and wine and ice tea,... More

Very cozy restaurant, in a small village (Pia do Urso) in Serra dos Candeiros. It has great food, big servings (you can easily split one serving for two), employees are really nice and polite. It is a typical stone house with a fire place, wel decorated and with really nice details. Not to be missed: "Naco na pedra" and "Maminha... More

I am so glad I have Portuguese relatives that know where to go. This was a great little place that only offered 5 or 6 lunch specials per day, but there was always something for everyone. Big portions, and great pricing. I wound up going back there a second time during my two week stay, and if I ever revisit... More
