Best fish ever. Been here three times and it's good every time. The dessert are homemade and fabulous. Ask for a tast of a few. Really a family feeling to this place. Nice go be able to choose which fish you would like. Very friendly server.

A wonderful traditional restaurant in Cascais that has a loyal local clientele. You need a GPS to find it but it is worth the effort. The food is the real deal. We had wonderful roasted cabrito, pézinhos de coentrada and fried fish eggs. Everything was prepared on the spot with meticulous care by chef Manuel Castro. Great value for money!

This is not a tourist restaurant - and it is the better for it. I have been three times now and, whilst struggling a little with the language, I have managed to have an excellent meal on every occasion. The service is robust - compared to the obsequious attention of the tourist square - but they happily speak english and... More

I have only just found this place and it is just near where I usually stay. Usual family run independent but of high quality and far better appointed than you would expect from its hidden location. Food well up to spec and service with charisma. Daily specialities available , so plan in advance. But make sure you give it a... More

You will not find a tourist in this local restaurant. The food is the best there is. The place is packed. My husband had the duck with rice. It was like no duck he's ever had in the US. The duck was outstanding as was the rice. I had the prawns which I've had all over Portugal but nothing compared... More

Typical family-run Portuguese restaurant. My wife and I shared a delicious grilled sea bass. Our son went for a leg of piglet which was excellent too.

This restaurant serves good local food for a good price. We ate there twice. One evening we shared a Fish soup as a family and it was delicious. Also, we were introduced to a local cheese (had to pay) and it was delicious as well. The meat was also of good quality. Friendly staff.

I blame it all on a Portuguese friend who told me this is where to eat great local food. It is tucked away in a backstreet but what a lunch! The restaurant was busy with a very helpful waiter and a mix of friendly local people, both families and couples. We had the special of the day, intended for two... More

This is one of the best restaurants for portuguese food in Cascais area. The taste is perfect, the fish is fresh, the wine is always good. The desserts are also a must for the lovers of the tradicional portuguese tastes.
