Tasty food, cheap eating, and the daily specialties are totally worth. It seems crowded mostly with locals, which for us was a good sign. Even if it's tiny and sometimes crowded around lunch, the food is definitely worth the wait.

Me and my husband come to this place for many years and it never let us down. The service is good, it can get a bit busy on weekends and summer nights but its definitely worth the wait. They have various options on the menu, specially traditional portuguese food. We strongly suggest the Picanha witch is a traditional brasilian grilled... More

Went for lunch based on all the reviews, and having been to many a local restaurant serving typical Portuguese cuisine we knew what to expect for the Prato do dia (Specials for lunch). The actual meals we ordered were perfectly acceptable, I had the fried baby squids and my partner the roast ribs( albeit both dishes swimming in oil), the green... We found this little place a couple of years ago and the food is excellent. As long as you are not in a hurry then it is well worth the wait. We will definitely be going back this year.

Set in the old part of Cascais, this unassuming looking restaurant is a real find! The food, simply presented, was absolutely lovely as nice as anything I'd had in more expensive places. Very reasonably priced, will be going back!

We stumbled into this restaurant because we ran into another couple coming out and they told us it was very good, they were right it was excellent. It was also amazing value. The surroundings are pretty basic but the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the food is lovely. Can't praise highly enough.

We were wandering around the 'back streets' one evening and found this local Portuguese restaurant - luckily! My husband and I (!) both had steaks I creamy mushroom sauce which were fantastic. Couples around us had cod stew which looked equally delicious This family run restaurant is basic and has no touristy pretensions, they obviously support Benfica (the memorabilia on... More
