Good food. Nice service. A little surprise that we did not expect in a tourist area. Tje staff speaks French... oignon soup and paté were fantastic.

Nice restaurant and terrace to have a Saturday lunch in Belem. I tasted the cod of the day, served with black pasta and clams. The cod itself is quite tasteless, but the sauce was very tasty. For dessert, I had a day's special - three...different small desserts - panna cotta, chocolate mousse and a miniature pastel de nata. My friend had a risotto with octopus which she said was delicious. Affordable, good food, excellent service even though the restaurant was full. Two main courses, two desserts, two espressos, glass of beer and a bottle of water cost € 55 (with tip).More

I found the Comptoir on Facebook and decided to give it a try. Took my friends today and the experience was very good! The owners très sympathiques, service very friendly, delicious food and reasonable prices. Lovely place, congratulations!

Thank god we spotted this place amongst the sea of "restaurants" with plastic menu touting staff which throng this area. We were late for lunch so lucky to get a table as it's pretty small in here and the cosy cool atmosphere was perfect for...4 friends. Despite the name there's a lot of Portguese inspired fare on here! I had sardines in a potato salad (yum and huge) and then a seafood pasta which was delicious although I wasn't such a fan of the piece of fillet perched atop. Highly recommendMore

Stumbled upon this little place by chance on our last night and what a charming little place. Loved the staff, super friendly and they really took the time to understand what I liked and made recommendations. The steak was massive and delicious, cooked to perfection....The wine was on staff recommendation and was not expensive but excellent. Overall great value for money. Yes I would recommendMore

Always a pleasure to experience a bit of a French twist in Belem. There are daily specials . There were 9 of us and we all enjoyed a variety of dishes ranging from sirloin steak smothered in a mushroom sauce ...pure yum and sea bass...with ratatouille. Lentils as a starter was also excellent. We were treated like royalty by a young gentleman who was very pleasant and efficient. This is a family run restaurant with lots of charm and great tasting food. Whenever we are un the area, we enjoy a nice meal either inside or outside on the lawn. We look forward to a return visit and will save room for dessert.More

In an area of many restaurants side be side, the Comptoir Parisien stands out as a great surprise. Food is excellent, service is pretty good and most important food is excellent.
