This was amazing! Everything we choose was excellent and the risotto sauce (the tiny bit that was left at the bottom of the bowl) was so so delicious we asked for a small slice of bread to wipe it up …a great experience all around...for the four of us.More
Fantastic food, intimate and cozy dining, amazing service. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant; the service was prompt and attentive, the flavours were amazing and the atmosphere was a nice break from crowded tourists spots.
It's not just cheese, I promise. We had a 4 course meal for a very reasonable €30 and it was absolutely delicious. Cheese featured heavily, but every dish was different and imaginative. Noisy from the airport, but thoroughly recommended nonetheless. I would go out of...my way to eat here again.More
Enjoyed a wonderful meal, with very creative and delicious items. Also enjoyed a long conversation with the manager - all about food and Portugal. Small restaurant and suggest you make a reservation. My husband had the set menu and loved all four courses, and he...shared a few bites with me. I had a separate shrimp dish for my main course. Great wine suggestion. Menu changes, so trust you will have an excellent meal.More
We were so lucky to have found this restaurant!! We wanted something quaint with atmosphere and Oh My Goodness the Cheese!! It is easy to see how dinner in Europe can easily last two hours, they don’t rush you, they want everyone to have a...wonderful experience and the flavors are perfect! Starters- we ordered a traditional cheese ball/bread a typical Brazilian Dish. We also ordered at the Managers suggestion another dish a Bruschetta but with Jamon and Brie (melted) with a touch of fig and it was delicious. Main Course - we ordered Salmon in a goat cheese sauce (that combination is something we would never have) and it was unbelievable! The Goat Cheese sauce was light and matched the delicacy of the Salmon. Our other Main was “Filled Chicken Breast with Pumpkin Risotto” and it was truly delicious! Dessert - we couldn’t decide and wanted to taste a couple so took the recommendation of the Manager. We ordered and fully enjoyed both the “Deconstructed Cheesecake” and “Crème de Mascarpone” we couldn’t decide which was better and before we knew it we had finished them both! Hats off to the Manager, he took his time to explain everything and make recommendations for a meal that was a memory of flavors and experience we will never forget!More
Came for dinner after reading reviews and it did not disappoint, we had the set menu which was fabulous for all four courses , great wines and wonderful staff who explained the menu in detail, definitely worth a trip outside of the main tourist area...if you are a lover of cheese. Great quality at a reasonable priceMore
Weren’t sure to begin with … so glad we went ! I love cheese but my partner not so much. I had researched places to go / eat in Lisbon and this came up. We are so glad we went. We had : halloumi, Portuguese...cheese bread, filo parcel, macaroni, mascarpone dessert - all wow! The flavours were out of this world. The service was great. If you like cheese - go! Make sure to book :)More
This place is phenomenal. We had the DEGUSTATION MENU. The bread board to start was out of this world. The chorizo cheese balls were incredibly tasty. The best course was the chicken with risotto - it’s the best risotto I’ve ever had! This place is...a gem and the service certainly matches.More
It has taken us 3 years to finally get to come to eat in this restaurant (after covid) & it did not let us down wonderful food excellent service & not to badly priced, if you love cheese then if you are ever in Lisbon...make this a place to go to you will not be disappointed we will be back.More
If you like cheese ( and Dutch people do) this is the place to go. Friendly service and great menu for a very decent price.
We were staying at the Radisson and looking for a place for dinner when this place caught our eye. Great service and food. The chicken w risotto and shrimp with Mac n cheese were both delightful. The recommended wine was delicious. Great ambiance. Would recommend...to others looking for a meal in the area. Booked a table on line about 30 mins prior. Fun to watch the chefs in the kitchen.More
This is one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Amazing food, cozy environment and a great host, Vasco!
We visited for lunch and had a combination of the degustation menu (a fantastic selection) and the Shrimp with Mac’n’cheese (as a main). We were warmly greeted by Vasco and he was extremely helpful in suggesting tasting options (both for food and drinks). We thoroughly...enjoyed every plate, especially the dessert with a wine pairing of 2 glasses of Moscatel (one aged in cognac, the other in Armagnac), both absolutely divine. Our favourite lunch venue in Lisboa, we will definitely return.More
I found this place through Tripadvisor and the 5 stars are well deserved both for the quality and original food, and for the nice young owner of the place. Reccomand either the menu degustacion or the soup with pears and roque-fort. I'll come back.
