The first thing to say is that you should book, if you want to go to this restaurant. We went mid-week and the queues were out the door. It's a traditional Portuguese restaurant with traditional large portions. The menu probably hasn't changed in years -...More

Absolutely stunned by the good reviews I have just read as our experience here tonight was underwhelming to say the least. Our Airbnb host recommended this place. We queued for about 45 minutes to get in so thought it must be amazing. The menu was...More

This restaurant was recommended by our airbnb host and it is incredible. Truly a place for locals, it has a great casual, welcoming atmosphere. They specialise in meat and fish dishes. All are very simple, served with potatoes and spinach and seasoned to perfection. The...More

We ate here twice, as our hotel was nearby. Both times were late lunches (about 2:30) and they always seem to be crowded. We seemed to be the only tourists both times--all the other patrons were locals. That is, of course, always a good sign....More

We were looking for a nice, small restaurant when walking on the Rua da Graca and found this one by coincidence. Nice place, good atmosphere and the food on the tables looked great. Do not expect "haute cuisine" but local Portuguese food - meat as...More

The short story is that this is where chefs of famous Lisbon restaurants come to eat on their days off. The food is simply remarkable. Very traditionally Portuguese. Most of the guests are locals, and come back.

We were in Lisbon 4 days and wanted to experience something of the tourist trap. We arrived early and were seated. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We ordered the food I got the beef de limbo and the wife got mixed grill....More

like independent villages in the capital's center, and
more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants
and parks, as well as important monuments like the S.
