We found this place based on the 5 best fado places recommended by hotel Dom Pedro in Lisbon. It was no 3 recommended but for us for sure is no 1. Very tasty food, staff was top class and last but not at least the...More

Had a great meal at this restaurant in a lovely neighborhood. Ordered he seafood stew which our waiter recommended. Dinner for two (and then some!) Good wine. Come to here the Fado. Beautiful singing and guitar playing. A bit on the expensive side.
A place to celebrate. Lovely atmosphere, food and an insight to Portuguese culture. TIPS: Fado performance from 2100-2120 for two hours, 4 sessions with breaks. During performance do not rattle cutlery! There is a 'starter' on your table to nibble. We chose the Monkfish with...More
A classier venue than another we saw; too small for tourist groups; old-fashioned charm, service, dinners. Quiet attention was paid by locals, students, as well as a few tourists to the artistic musicians and fine, committed singers. It was a special evening.

This is a fabulous restaurant to see and hear exceptional FADO artists while enjoying delicious food in an intimate restaurant setting. Filipa Cordoso and Aldina Duarte were featured and gave a very special and personal performance. The staff was extremely helpful and even arranged for...More
For a "dinner theater" (fado) the food and service were very good. The sea bass was excellent, the fish stew very good. All in all, a wonderful way to experience the food and fado of Portugal!!!!
This almost got it right but for a couple of reasons we ended up with mixed feelings. We spent a lot of time researching where to go for fado, as so many places get critical reviews for being touristy and/or expensive. So the good; the...More
