We found this place based on the 5 best fado places recommended by hotel Dom Pedro in Lisbon. It was no 3 recommended but for us for sure is no 1. Very tasty food, staff was top class and last but not at least the...More

Had a great meal at this restaurant in a lovely neighborhood. Ordered he seafood stew which our waiter recommended. Dinner for two (and then some!) Good wine. Come to here the Fado. Beautiful singing and guitar playing. A bit on the expensive side.

A place to celebrate. Lovely atmosphere, food and an insight to Portuguese culture. TIPS: Fado performance from 2100-2120 for two hours, 4 sessions with breaks. During performance do not rattle cutlery! There is a 'starter' on your table to nibble. We chose the Monkfish with...More

A classier venue than another we saw; too small for tourist groups; old-fashioned charm, service, dinners. Quiet attention was paid by locals, students, as well as a few tourists to the artistic musicians and fine, committed singers. It was a special evening.

A taxi got us up there. Founded by a Fado great, it has the best singers and musicians we saw and heard in Lisbon. Smallish, old-fashioned, classy, with very good food, service and ambiance. No large tour groups. Locals and young aficionados were silent and...More

We very much enjoyed our evening here on a Friday in late September 2017. Welcome and service were friendly and professional, the atmosphere elegant and the food classic local dishes of very good quality (don't expect creative cooking here). Starting at 9pm, there were about...More

The music and the environment are terrific. (Feels like an old-time nightclub.). It was very expensive and probably the worst meal we had in Lisbon.

This is a fabulous restaurant to see and hear exceptional FADO artists while enjoying delicious food in an intimate restaurant setting. Filipa Cordoso and Aldina Duarte were featured and gave a very special and personal performance. The staff was extremely helpful and even arranged for...More

For a "dinner theater" (fado) the food and service were very good. The sea bass was excellent, the fish stew very good. All in all, a wonderful way to experience the food and fado of Portugal!!!!

This almost got it right but for a couple of reasons we ended up with mixed feelings. We spent a lot of time researching where to go for fado, as so many places get critical reviews for being touristy and/or expensive. So the good; the...More

Hi Mimi, I would recommend getting a taxi or Über, both should not cost more than 10-15 euros You can also catch Tram 28 going west towards Bairo Alto and walk last 10 minutes or so from the tram stop Enjoy Lisbon

I don't think there is any but we were "dressy casual" and that was fine.

We paid approx. £50 a head - 3 courses + house wine (the white was very good). You do get excellent Fado music which I can thoroughly recommend as well.
