Great authentic Portuguese pastry shop and coffee house. Popular on the ground floor but explore the upper floor and a quiet and tranquil experience. Great pastry and coffee experience and convenient meeting place.

We visited the Confeitaria today and unfortunately were not happy about our stay. It was very crowded, but we got a table very fast which was good. Unfortunately we had to wait for ten minutes to be waited and another 25 minutes to receive our...More

Nice historic place with average food. Prices are reasonable. Good place for quick stop for cup of tea or coffee, but nothing special.

Beautiful historic building serving pasty and hot beverages. The pastries were ok, not great. They didn’t seem like they were freshly made. The table waitress was very efficient and helpful but the counter staff were curt and almost rude. There are plenty of pastry shops...More

Their traditional egg-based sweets and cakes are superb. Pastel Nata may be slightly better elsewhere, but the traditional Portugal sweets were all perfect. Coffee was not bad either.

I kindly suggest you a visit this historical local with typical Portuguese architecture style. Honestly, the cafeteria should be improved. Cappuccino is barely closed a real cappuccino. But the staff service and pastries are good.

Lovely coffee break in a winter day wandering the old town. Try the chocolate pot for 2, thick melted chocolate made not from powder but crumbled truffles. Truly some of the best hot choc we've ever had. A huge selection of patisserie and pastries, opt...More

The "Nacional" as it was currently called was a monument to Portuguese pastries. They had all sorts of sweets and classical Portuguese snacks. Unfortunately this "monument" closed at the beginning of 2018

Thise café and pastry shop is right on one end of Praca da Figueira. They are still this old style traditional portuguese cafe with a lot of different pastries and great coffee. I visited this place waiting for my tour to start. The ladies there...More

Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
