We wanted a good meal that wouldn't break the bank. What better than a pizza. Real italian style. Served in rectangular slices. Lots of choice both for vegetarians and meat eaters. 6 Slices plus 6 drinks. 22 Euros. Excellent

By writing this evaluation I am taking a huge risk that is, next time I go to Primo Basilico the place will be crowded. The facts are: fabulous italian style pizza a taglio; lots of flavour and various options (including vegetarian); very small place and for eating standing (it has a next door room for who wants to take the... Our walking tour guide recommended this place and we were so thankful! After a long day of walking the hills of Lisbon delicious pizza and calzone really hit the spot. This is not hippie California fake cheese faux meat vegan pizza either. The combinations of vegetables and tomatoes and spices create cheese and meat free options that are better than... More

The pizzas are focaccia style, by the slice or pizza. There is dine in space adjacent with 6 tables plus a bar stool area. The calzones and the Olive Garlic pizzas were my favourite. So many terrific vegan options! Very nice staff.

Friendly service and lovely pizzas, we shared a big pizza which was budget friendly. We didn't mind the 20 minutes waiting time because the pizza was freshly made.

Very nice price, and friendly service. We ordered a variety of slices to take away. 2 Slices per person will do, or 3 if you're really hungry. Dough is very heavy and a bit greasy. The mozarella slice is very good! Good for one time or for a quick bite

The pizza here is decent. I slice will set you back €2.90, which is reasonable. The pizza is not too thick and not too thin with a good chew and the right tomato to cheese ratio. Good cheap option.

Thank tombillinge

Neighbourhood Profile
Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria
Explore narrow streets and alleyways, small cafes and, of course, the internationally acclaimed Fado music. The earth-shattering Great Earthquake of 1755 destroyed most of the city but the contiguous neighborhoods of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama remained standing to this day. These neighborhoods represent Lisbon at its historical best. The cool breeze of the Tagus river will take you up the hills to the sound of Fado, where you'll discover the best "tascas," eat delicious fresh fish and drink great wines. Discover hidden viewpoints and ancient traces of other civilizational ruins in the heart of the Portuguese capital. These are centuries-old neighborhoods that will welcome you to the very best of old Lisbon culture.
