We wanted to experience Fado music, but the restaurant we were originally planning to go to was full. They recommended Arcas Velho instead. We had a wonderful time. It was a prix fix menu that evening, with more food then most of us could eat. The food was excellent and we had the most delicious sangria! The atmosphere was wonderful,... More

We came for a very late lunch after visiting the pantheon and Tuesday flea market. Delicious tapas - grilled prawns were the best we've ever had. Plenty to choose from if you're gluten free like my wife. Small outdoor seating and five tables inside. Vintage decor. Good cocktails although not all are served all day. They have live Fado in... we were recommended to see the Fado & eat at this restaurant. Unfortunately we arrived on a night when the Fado was not on. ok so we decide to stay to enjoy the food. Not much choice on the menu unless you like eggs. The staff were friendly enough, Antonio made us feel very welcome and gave us some good... More

This was an unforgettable evening. The three Fado singers were glorious, the food was great and the service was terrific and friendly. There's a really good vibe at this place. And it felt like an authentically Portuguese evening. Highly recommend it. Make reservations!

Me, my husband and friends were looking for a restaurant nearby Arcaz that happened to be closed... A guy working at Arcaz was so polite and gentle giving us info that we decided to go there and try some "tapas"... We were absolutely amazed by everything we ordered! Açorda de camarão, favinhas com presunto, camarão ao alho, chocos, pataniscas de... More

You get a fixed menu for 30EUR, but it is definitely worth it. Just go there very hungry so that you can enjoy all the different dishes. The music nice as well.

This place was just around the corner from the place we stayed during our visit and was our usual port of call for a final glass of wine on the way back, service was great and the place has live Fado music on quite a bit

Came here in the late afternoon but found that the service was not good at all, not friendly, not welcoming. Could have been nice, but it was ruined.

We were looking for a place and and the waiter that was inside said that there was only a small table avail. That person was smoking INSIDE the place. I would not recommend to anyone to go there. Take care of your health.

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
