Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I wondered where I was being taken when my partner rang a bell to get in, but I’m very glad we came here. It’s a very eccentric and unique old style bar with random bits of memorabilia and a very long cocktail list. Cosmopolitan was...very strong and there are a few pool tables too. Nice taco joint a few doors down.More

Quite frankly, a really weird place for a drink. Staff were really friendly, the place itself was quiet when we went. Lots to look around at, drinks were decent.

Although it does not look nice from the outside, this bar is absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere and decently priced drinks

Magical atmosphere surrounded by antique toys and decor. Fun place to grab a drink just to see the venue! You feel like you stepped back in time!

Fantastic quirky and atmospheric. The cocktails were excellent ( even if a little expensive) and the service and surroundings excellent.

So much to see! We had a few cocktails that were made to perfection. Staff was professional and courteous. If it seems pricey consider the extra euros part of the entertainment - everyone who came through while we were visiting seemed fascinated by the endless...collections/memorabilia.More

A great place to order drinks, sit with friends and enjoy the totally surreal environment. Mixed pieces of history, antique toys and posters. You can´t see anything from the outside. The windows are covered with old papers. But the moment you open the door its...like entering another dimension. Room after room full of surprises, ending in a room with pool tables, and everything covered by a soft, warm lightning. The bar is very inviting, the service is excellent.More

I wish I could give 6 out of 5 stars. What an amazing place. Every nook and cranny is packed with something interesting. A must visit when in Lisbon. Our host Juan (I hope I spelt that right) was a delightful, pleasant gentleman who always...made sure we had a drink, and drink we did. By Lisbon standards it may work out expensive, no big deal for us as it was still cheaper than (rip-off) Ireland.More

I believe that they are going for an English Gentleman's Club vibe or decor. Whatever the intention, the place is eccentric and far from the norm. You need to ring the doorbell to get in. When we arrived we thought it was closed, but fortunately,...someone else arrived and rang the bell. The pool tables are in pretty sad shape, but adequate for a casual game of eight ball.More

There is some sort of underground feel to this place. You don’t just stumble across it, you don’t occasionally drop by, you barely notice the entrance. You go there deliberately, usually with locals taking you there. Somewhat closed to outsiders. Crazy interior with thousands of...Chinese memorabilia. Decadent and vulgar odors that go very well with The Menu. Impossible smoke clouds in the back room. Slow service. But beyond that you just sip on your cocktail imagining if there are some other secret private rooms with things happening, that are not supposed to be seen by an innocent stranger eye. Curious place. Very unique.More
