A portuguese friend brought us here. This place is amazing, the interior design is stunning and interesting. The owner must have spent so much time and effort to keep it at this stage with thousand of collections. Not too sure why the bar is name as "Chinese Pavilion" as there is non any element of Chinese decoration. However, it's a... More

Some Friends stop in Lisbon for few days... and after I point them to several "Key Places", guess what... they lead me to this amazing place... Man, what a sensation you get when you open the door and face into huge amount of old toys, old pics and old "stuffs"... immediately your head start drawing scenes of potential stories that... More

I was recommended this bar and would recommend it to others. All of the rooms display a gentleman's collection of things he has kept over the years. Quiet and dark, I would suggest that it may be better for couples because when I went it was quite quiet. Lovely music and red wine, we were in awe of this quaint... More

From the street you won't imagine what you are going to find inside this place. I can't make a list of how many strange objects are on the walls, on the shells and even on the ceiling! Ancient hats, sculptures, paintings, there is also a costume of a British Royal guard! The menu is like a book and it's all... More

Has to be seen to be believed! Wonderful set of rooms and a sound track of my years. You could spend hours looking through the collection but advise just sitting back, enjoy a drink and soak it in.

...with so much history and mystique. Finding the place is a little difficult, the door is not well advertised but once you get in the front, the place will amaze you. It's nicely decorated from wall to wall. This is a tourist trap but a local place as well. The only problem are the sky rocket prices!

One of the oldest bars in Lisbon, a bit stuffy for the summer and yes it is kinda creepy but perfect for the winter. The decoration looks like it is taken from a Terry Giliam movie!
