We had the most amazing food here. Simple local food presented on small plates. Prices are really reasonable. We had 7 plates, 3 desserts, 2 glasses of wine, 5 bottles of sparkling water and 4 baskets of bread for €105. The quality of food was...More

After failing to get in the day before we turned up just after 6 hoping for a table and were lucky this time. Now I understand why it's so popular; the food was sensational! Fabulous mackerel tartare, melt in the mouth swordfish, yummy king prawns...More

Dreadful service! And why "cash only"? Tax avoidance? Waitress asked us to wait 95 minutes for a table for 2, when we went back - no table, and too late to eat anywhere else. Very very poor.

First off- the food (which i suppose is most important) is fantastic. Fried cuttlefish roe with squid ink dipping sauce were wild clouds of delicious salty fish, mackerel ceviche outrageous. And service started warm and friendly. But by the end, the head waiter bruskly took...More

Three of us saw a write up posted in a retail shop, not too distant, and thought it sounded interesting. We were not disappointed. Be warned: this place is a very cozy/tight space. If you have mobility issues, well, be prepared. It is popular to...More

We had one of our best dinners in this little taberna - you should be aware of the risk of waiting for a table though. They serve wonderful exceptional, not 0815 dishes that are finely seasoned. Try the chocolate mousse and cake! Staff was very...More

This place is really lovely. It's cash only, and the menu changes daily. The place is all about small plates, and a typical meal is four plates between two people. When I arrived, they told me that it would be at least a half hour...More

Stumbled upon this wonderful little restaurant. Specials chalked up on the board, and sardine special. Wonderful wine choices and delicious cheese as standard on the table. We enjoyed the small, cosy atmosphere and imagine it would be very romantic in the evening.

This was one of the best dinners I had in Portugal in 2 weeks. The food was so fresh and tasty, service also great. A bit squashed but totally worth it. The scallops were to die for. We waited over an hour to be seated...More

After popping our names down for a 2 hour wait, we wondered round to get a drink and take in a bit of Lisbon drumming up an appetite for this little restaurant. The waiters / waitresses were exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable and the food was...More
