Located on a old and bohemian area near the Castle, it is a place to enjoy great evenings with fine wine, various tapas and others. With a friendly and welcoming owner, Tapas do Além Tejo is truly an appealing and hidden treasure that is worth the visit and re-visit.

We came upon this bar by chance and found it so charming that we decided to enter. We had two glasses of Portuguese wine which was so bad it gave you heartburn after just one sip. It came with a free tapa - a piece of bread with smoked ham that smelled very suspicious. Despite the cute decoration, the place... More

This a very nice restaurant, with a good decoration and atmosphere. Where you could have nice and very good Petiscos from Portugal. This restaurant is located near the S.Jorge Castle, and is a nice place to take a meal before our after visit the Castle.

In the nice neighborhood of Muraria, close to the S.Jorge Castle, there is a small nice restaurant of tapas (in Portugal they would say petiscos). Rute and his boyfriend run with great enthusiasm this multipurpose space. They created in the middle of the crisis (just a year ago) a restaurant and a meeting point for creative people (painting exhibitions and... More

These neighborhoods represent Lisbon at its historical best. The cool breeze of the Tagus river will take you up the hills to the sound of Fado, where you'll discover the best "tascas," eat delicious fresh fish and drink great wines. Discover hidden viewpoints and ancient traces of other civilizational ruins in the heart of the Portuguese capital.
