We have been here a few times when we've been in Lisbon as our hotel is nearby. The staff are very friendly, when we went this year the waiter remembered us from the year before and even remembered which table we sat at previously. Nice choice of food, we had the steaks and the kids had pasta. Also has a... More

Lovely Portugese restaurant, with huge screen where we watched Uefa 2016 final. Two floors, full of local people, amazing menu: old menu booklets, big choice, huuuuge portions. I highly recommend the speciality: Formagio dishes, chicken or beef steak under 4 cheese, served with pasta or mashed potatoes in addition. They have Sangria - 4 options with different flavours, refreshing and... More

Large restaurant with a movie screen showing old time movies as you eat. Food was good, had melon with prosciutto, a nice rather spicy pasta dish with sausage, a steak with salas and fries, bottle of wine, and, of couse, olives, bread, sardine paste, and butter. Service was excellent on a Saturday night nearing 10 pm.

This place is huge, but was very busy the night we went, old decor and great menu booklet, staff all nicely turned out and good old fashioned service. The staff were charming, the house wine very acceptable and the food delicious. I can highly recommend it.

They do not have an extend list of dishes, but what they've is very good! We're talking about a house with more than 60 years history. Suggestions: Imperio Steak and Imperio Codfish but before that just drink a Heineken and enjoy the place. Fantastic one!

We were so looking forward to an evening in this restaurant. What a disappointment. We felt rushed to order our food. Barely finished what turned out to be a very expensive couvert before the main meal arrived. Give that we ordered different steaks it was difficult to distinguish between the two! We booked on-line a table for 2. Please note... More

We had dinner at Cafe Imperio with friends who live in Lisbon, as we would never have found the place on our own - it is on a traffic street and not in the pedestrian zone, but close to the waterfall fountain. The place was pretty empty as we were early (with kids). Service was attentive, the food arrived very... More
