We looked at all of the reviews for Fado houses in Lisbon and ended up choosing Cafe Luso because it was just a couple of blocks walk from our hotel. The experience definitely surpassed our expectations based on the reviews we read. While most of...More

The music was barely above average, while the food was god dam awful and they took 30 minuets to deliver each course. It was also really expensive.

This is more than a Fado Show and more than a restaurant. It's a combination of the two and when you consider that the food cost covers dinner and the show, it's a decent value. We had the 44 euro 4 course meal and it...More

Overrated!!! Too many tables squeezed into the space. Waiters were not able to move freely in between tables. Air conditioner not working = overcrowded, humid, claustrophobic. Food quality average and VERY overpriced. A disappointing evening, we will never go back 😡😡😡

We visited the place while on holiday only because the fado restaurant we originally chose was fully booked. We opted for a three course meal for a set price of 44 euro (which is quite expensive) and a glass of wine. My appetizer was a...More

Dear customer, Luckily he found us and so he could have a unique experience in a unique place, the oldest fairy house in Lisbon that this year turns 90 years. Happy to have you completely pleased, we wish to welcome you again at Café Luso.

This was my first visit to a fado restaurant, and I was little worried, since I had understood that they often are bad quality tourist traps. Luckily, Cafe Luso was a quality experience. The menu 44€ was little expensive, but the food was good quality,...More
