We should have been the ideal customers for this bar. I'm passionate about wine (so much so that I considered working in the industry) but I don't know a lot about Portuguese wine and really wanted to learn a little more from an expert. We live locally, like around 5-10 minutes away and have passed the bar many times. We... More

As the title says, spent a lovely couple of hours enjoying a house wine and an incredibly tasty and well presented plate of Portuguese cheeses. Great atmosphere. Relaxing vibe. Reasonably priced.

We had been enjoying the wine so much during our trip to Portugal, so we definitely wanted to hit a wine bar on our last night, and we were not disappointed. I had heard that it was a long uphill climb to Graca do Vinho, and it was quite a climb but it was worth it. A very simple place.... More

Lovely wines, great service, quirky atmosphere. Great break from the bustle of Lisbon. Myself and my partner stopped here after a morning of sight seeing. Service was great

Lovely cheese and wine bar in the up and coming Graça district. Pedro the owner is charming (speaks fluent English) and will recommend the good options. Good selection of wine, cheese and charcuterie. Great for aperitif or light dinner.

Stumbled upon this place by accident and decided to drop by and take a break from all the walking. Great wine and the cheese platter is out of this world.

So many times i passed by and everytime this place just kind of wispered "come in" from across the street. Finaly i did and what a good experience it was! It is just the most beautiful and cozy place you can be at, an artsy retro decoration, every detail calls for attention. Be it the chairs that are hanged on... More

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
