Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tasting menu at 85 euros gives a wonderful selection of tapas style sharing food that’s stylish and full of bold flavours . Food is modern and Mediterranean with Asian twists . Highlights are Tuna tartare cones , exploding olive spheres and melt in the...mouth tataki steak Wine and cocktails are plentiful with good value available We had a great female singer and keyboard player round off a lovely eveningMore

When looking for the place - keep eyes open, it is in the back of another restaurant and entrance to the first restaurant and signage easy to miss. Clever place, sharp looking. Night we there they had live music - which was good and nice...touch. Good menu, and we enjoyed what we ordered. We would order a few things, eat, order more, eat, drink etc. Waitress could have been a bit more attentive. Menu is good and clever presentation. Dress code - like you are going out on a date. Make a reservation.More

Overall disappointed and would not go back or recommend. Staff friendly and good atmosphere but food felt like "they tried to get a little too cute" and absolutely didn't deliver. The toppas were a doritios chip with a smear of Wasabi...rubbish. Save your $$$ and...go anywhere but here. Overpriced, overhyped and definitely not your best bet with so many other choices.More

My husband and I ate there the other night. First of all, the secret entrance greets you like a speak easy and then you walk into an amazing space that used to be a church. We opted to start off with a cocktail and each...get the tasting menu for 75 Euros (which is a steal compared to Los Angeles). I loved the molecular gastronomy of the "olives" that burst when you bite into them. They even put one in my dirty martini. I was impressed with each course. The food was so good. They only thing is it was too much at the end; we thought we were done and still had 2 more courses to go. With a bottle of wine, our bill came to 250 Euros. The meal took 2 hours and well worth the experience.More

The food was amazing and the taste a real positive experience, unfortunately the portions of the different dishes were not enough. In my long experience with restaurants of the Michelin guide I’ve never tried something like that… the quantity of the food is hilarious compared...with the cost… we were a couple and we spent almost 200€… I’m not lying saying we went to McDonald after that!!!! I was still hungry!!! I have to mention also the 10€ tips for no reason… back again, the food experience was absolutely positive in terms of taste and different flavors, but terrific if we consider quantity and cost.More

The atmosphere was great here however the food was not what was expected. For example chicken starters were actually chicken skin which perhaps we wouldn’t have ordered if we knew. Some items were great but overall the service and food was average and there are...so many great places in Lisbon to try!More

Absolutely, here's a revised version of your review: "Our evening at the restaurant fell far short of our expectations. Despite having a reservation for 10:30 PM, we waited for half an hour before being seated. While the ambiance was pleasant with good music, the service...was disappointingly slow. Many diners, including ourselves, had to repeatedly signal for assistance, even though numerous tables were empty. The vegetarian menu was notably inferior to the other options. While one dish was satisfactory, the remainder lacked flavor, with unripe avocado and cold fries further detracting from the experience. By 2:30 AM, we were eager to leave and opted to skip the dessert courses, which seemed similarly uninspiring. When we expressed our concerns to the staff, their response was a mere apology without any attempt to rectify the situation. If considering a visit, I would advise against booking food and instead suggest enjoying drinks at the bar. Overall, it was a disappointing evening, leaving us feeling tired and disheartened."More

This was recommended by a family we did a food tour with. Our experience was AMAZING! The entry is very unique and sets the stage perfectly for the restaurant. The restaurant is small and when we arrived they were full but it didn't feel overcrowded....Making a reservation is recommended, so you are sure to have a table. We elected to choose a la carte options and were not let down. The service was great. The tapas are small but very unique, and we didn't have a bad dish. Every cocktail we tried was great. There was a burlesque show starting as we left. Very fun experience in Lisbon!More

You can see how Mini Bar might have been kind of cool in the past - nice decor, fun concept, a menu with potential. But it's clear after a night here that they've taken their eyes off the ball - the service was inattentive and...bungling, treatment was bordering on disrespectful and the food purported to be interesting and innovative but was executed in a bland and unoriginal way. Add to that what other reviewers here say - that the prices and the value did not match at all - and you have a very disappointing evening. Mini Bar might have been nice in its day but clearly the heart and vision are gone. Cannot recommend less.More

All process was smooth from the reservation to the reception. The room isn't big but very cosy. The natural beauty of the place was preserved, that gives a very special environment a mix of historical and also retro look. Food was very good we didn't...had the menu but tried several starters and desert. All allowed a very pleasant experience. The cabaret show is also very good allowing to merge the culinary experience with a good environmentMore

Sooo expensive for the tiniest portions ever. Highway robbery. Average food. It’s pretentious to the point of obnoxious. I never write bad reviews but I feel people need to be warned: avoid at all cost. Unless you have money to throw away and you don’t...mind leaving the place feeling ripped off and hungry.More

We have been to this restaurant 7 years ago and couldn’t wait to go back. Last time it was so inventive and the food so delicious we actually went twice. So imagine our surprise when we visited this time and walked away hungry and disappointed...after paying $120 for (3 bite size appetizers and 1shared main course) one glass of wine and one drink. The food was not up to par except for the poke cones($15 each, bite size) With all the amazing food in Lisbon can’t understand why people still patronize the restaurant. The gimmick is not that clever if the food and value are not there! Will Not be going or recommending to friends again!More

Food was horrible, pretentious and expensive. Absolutely the worst restaurant I and all of my friends have ever been to for the price. Tasteless, under seasoned, small portions and simply really poor food. Poor service. Over all the worst place we have ever been to....Nice surroundings. Don’t waste your time.More

This was a truly wonderful gastronomic experience. The food was beautifully presented, and the flavours were truly excellent. The service was relaxed but expert and attentive. We were in raptures and really enjoying our evening out with friends we were expecting to pay a handsome...price for such a fantastic meal, but imagine our surprise when the bill arrived and we had been charged 132 Euro for 4 Kir Royales. Admittedly the Kir Royale was not on the drinks menu, but given the pricing of some other cocktails we expected it would be about 15 Euro each. Shame on us for not checking the price at the time, as we remembered (too late) that we had been warned before heading to Portugal that ordering ‘off menu’ could be expensive. Suddenly what had been an exceptional experience tasted a bit sour. Buyer beware.More

Hi, they serve seared tuna, and depending on the day, might serve another type of fish. I haven't specified whether their tuna was sustainably grown.
