Excellent good, very nice staff, amazing view over a nice valley! You can see the river, the bridge over the Tagus, all the way to the south bank!

SCAM ALERT! They have charged us 14 euros extra for food we didn't order and also 8 euros for water! (It's normal when they bring snacks but if you don't touch them they normally don't charge you). Check your bill to make sure that they...don't over charge you. The scam works as follows: they pretend they don't speak English, then they pretend that water for example is not on the menu yet but will be added to the menu next week, then they will put through an item on the till to "show you" the water costs 8 euros and say that water it not on the menu. Eventually I came back to the restaurant 3 times and they gave me 5.5 euros for the items I didn't order, I checked the receipt again, came back, they gave me 3.5 euros back, then went away and checked the receipt and they gave me 5 euros back for the water. They still owe me 1.5 but I can't be bothered going back! They also work as a team so one waiter will say it's 8 euros for water and the other will confirm it is 8 euros. STAY SAFE PEOPLE!!! Such a horrible experience!!! Thought we finally found a decent place to eat... what a disappointment!More

Pateo Alfacinha is such a nice place, with friendly staff and nice food. It intends to give patrons the sense of the Portuguese hospitality and it achieves its goal. I was in a corporate dinner and we were rewarded with live music performed by the...Tuba banda who played regional songs. Starters, main course and desserts were very good. A pleasent place to spend the night.More

Every year, in the month without "r" in the name we visit A Horta. Every year is the same friendly and nice service. The fish is as fresh as it gets as well as the meat. The view is, of course, the prize of this...restaurant. We'll definitely go back, if not this year, in the next one :) tip: if you go for dinner bring a jacket as it can get chilly.More

We booked a table and had a great one. The view from the terrace is really nice. The starters and the bread tasted good. We ordered fish and the Vazia maturada. The service was really quick and courteous. The fish was good, but unfortunately the...veal was more than 75% of fat, and the "good" meat was tough and difficult to chew. We complained and the waiters were really sorry and offered us to take the meat and order another dish. We ordered the port cheeks, which were ok. They didn't charge us the first dish. The desserts after the main courses were good too. So I think, if you want a great view and eat fish it is a good restaurant. For those who don't eat fish it is not to recommend to eat the meat...More

At “A Horta Pateo Alfacinha” you will definitely experience a five-star atmosphere, breathtaking views, and an outstanding meal. This magnificent place was a perfect way to end our last night in Lisboa. The décor was quaint and cozy. The meals had a homemade taste, yet...it was served in an elegant way. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience feel spectacular.More

This was a very pleasant experience. It was a business lunch but quickly turned in a food experience. The views are amazing and the food is served in an incredible environment. Traditional Portuguese food, very good quality and excellent taste, made this visit unforgettable. Thanks...for the experience.More

After two hours of waiting finally the food arrives but only for half of us. The food that arrived was honestly just average. Nice view but an experience to not repeat. Quite sad

We hosted a destination wedding in Lisbon (we are from San Francisco, California), and - wow! - we are so incredibly happy to have chosen Pateo Alfacinha. Our hope was to capture the feeling of Lisbon and Portugal - a place we love - for...all of our guests who flew in from around the world. We were not disappointed! We worked with Patricia to coordinate the wedding, and she was incredibly helpful! We decided to book the entire venue so our family and friends could enjoy everything the very unique venue has to offer, and we are so happy we did. Once of the greatest things about this venue is that you discover something new and special in every room, around every corner. On top of all of this, the food was incredible! Passed appetizers, bread, wine, cocktails, starters, dinner, the dessert assortment...the list goes on! Hats off to the chef! We booked this venue without ever seeing it in person (we had a Skype tour!), and it went above and beyond all of our expectations. Thank you Patricia and team for helping us put on a night we will never forget!More

Recently had dinner here with family and friends while on vacation and It was an "EXPERIENCE"". The food was flavorful, the portions were filling and the service friendly and prompt. The dishes were typically Portuguese but with a wonderful twist and beautifully served. The 'Leite...Creme" dessert which is similar to Creme Brulee was a must have! It was light and infused with a crisp citrus flavor. Simply the best I have ever tasted! The restaurant is perfectly located at a high point in the city's landscape which allows for a spectacular view of Lisbon down below. It is simply but tastefully decorated in a typical Portuguese villa style which is at once romantic, traditional and hip. Highly recommended for a true taste of Lisbon. Loved it!More
