A tiny restaurant, with a friendly welcoming hostess who gave us great recommendations for wine and food, and served delicious dishes. The aubergine side dish is especially excellent! Go! Though maybe book in advance; we got lucky getting a table in the small venue and you don't want to miss this.

It's more like sitting in her home, having a meal. She has a lot of guests to tend to, but still manages to talk to us. "Staff only gives me headache!" We eat in wonder, the food is amazing, all the time we're thinking: How does she do it? She cooks for 20 people every night, she waits on them... More

Typical, simple and nice traditional Moroccan cuisine as if you were in a family, yet in the middle of Lisbon's Bairo alto... Not easy to find a good Tagine or Couscous around there, so now you have THE place... and if you aim for the end of the week you may even get entertained with belly dancing to add to... More

We managed to get in on a busy Saturday night, but fortunately we ate early. The woman who does everything in this restaurant is a marvel. But in addition to being a brilliant cook, she's also a fabulous hostess. If you want to feel like you've been invited to eat at a really good friend's house, then this is the... More

So we're the only people in the restaurant. Our hostess/cook/one woman band seems to be a feisty friendly woman, going out of her way to make us feel welcome. Looks like the start of a great meal out. We order a tagine and kofta. The food is good. Ok it's a bit odd that, a couple of times while we're... More

We ate here with our teenage children and friends and it was great. The ambience set by the decoration and the music in this small but perfectly formed restaurant is excellent. The food is also excellent and all cooked and served by the fantastic hostess who makes you feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Really good north african style food with great athmosphere. There`s only one lady who is owner-waitress-cook-doorman and everything else what you need to run restaurant. Really tasteful food and good wine along food!

What a fantastic experience! The food is delicious. If you like oriental flavours, you are going to love it. We had several dishes and they were all heavenly. The hummus is to die for. But I think one of the best things in this place is the owner: she is so unique, vibrant and honest. It puts a smile on... More
