A fabulous little restaurant in the center of Sintra just steps from the train. nice little outdoor patio seating which we chose. Service was spectacular, prices were unbelievably reasonable given the high quality of the food. Food could not have been fresher or tastier and...PLENTIFUL. Unique building, very close to the Sintra train station. Food and coffee was fantastic, so good, I ate too much. Great place to start the day before trekking to the castles.

Four of us visiting Portugal for the first time from NYC and stayed at the Chalet Saudade! We had a delightful breakfast here, which was included in our Chalet, and the meal was plentiful, delicious and we loved the atmosphere! We arrived early, just before...the crowds and enjoyed the unique beauty of the building which incorporates a gift shop, eatery combined! Eat well & bring home a souvenir! This was our first stop in Sintra. Walking distance to the station. The Sandwiches and coffee were delicious. Very clean and pleasant shop.

Stay at the guest house with the same name and a breakfast at Saudade was included. Had two outstanding breakfasts. Fruit was fresh, coffee was great and the bread and croissant were perfect. Highly recommend the restaurant and the guest house as well.

Literally the biggest and BEST scones I have ever put in my mouth. Freshed baked...from their ovens to your stomach. Add a cappuccino and your day is off to a great start!

Coffee was ok. We tried the cheesecake (portuguese speciality) but it was far too sweet. Bit of a touristy place - prob better in Sintra

Wonderful spot for coffee, breakfast, sandwich and salads. Portions are huge and everything was fresh and well presented. Wait staff was helpful with selections and we highly recommend this gem close to train station.

This gem is not to be missed! Food was to die for and service was beyond friendly and personal. Louis is a ROCK star. She found us a table in a private room which may have not been for the public and it was perfection....Small, intimate, perfect for our party of 4. Do not leave without having a banana, strawberry, blueberry fruit smoothie and apple scone. Still longing for them today! 5⭐️More

We were visiting Sintra for the day and after reading the reviews and seeing people queuing to go in. We knew this was the place to stop and have lunch. It did not disappoint with our lovely welcome and helpful waiter who made suggestions to...eat. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I highly recommend a visit here enjoy this charming venue.More
