Definitely worth the waiting. This shop is old and popular and you’ll quickly understand why. The typical pastries are all fresh and tasty and the coffee very good; give the travesseiros and the queijadas a try. In short, the perfect place to end your stroll...More

This place has my favorite pastries in the area - the almond pillows - yummy! Inside or outside seating is always great.

I thought I had found the best custard pastries in Belem but these where so good but also different. Although we had lunch, we had to try some of these excellent pastries and them bring an extra back home to enjoy with our tea later.

My husband and I scouted this place down on the internet beforehand to taste their famous queijadas. Maybe we just don't have the taste for queijadas, but it didn't seem like anything too exciting for us personally.

Don't miss this. It's quite popular among the locals and highly recommended stop when in Sintra. Go and try the famous pillow pastry. It's so light and goes perfect with coffee. There's so many other pastries that all look good, but I only tried the...More

A local guide said we should try Piriquita when in Sintra as well as Pasteis de Belém in Lisbon. Pastel de Nata (egg custard tart) was good, but I liked their Pastel de Sintra better. They have a shop and cafe on R. Padarias just...More
