Back ... again ♡

Well what can I say. We've been coming here since our first trip to Madeira which can be 4 times a year, for the past 7 years. I think Sid classes us a regulars now! The food is still as delicious as ever, with just...the right amount of spices [in everything we've tried], ambience perfect and all greeted with the warmest of welcomes. A must visit, even if just the once ☆☆☆☆☆More

I love this place!

Whenever we go to Madeira (at least annually) I have to go to this place! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, best Indian food outside of India🙂. On this occasion we only had a main course but it was fab as usual....A special mention goes to the Naan bread (perfeito!). The staff are lovely, they make you feel so welcome and will do anything they can to make your meal enjoyable. The place was buzzing. The people just kept arriving (many locals as well as tourists) until the place was pretty much full (plus a number of takeaway orders) - speaks for itself I think! Totally disappointed

Good reviews made us eager to visit this Indian restaurant. Sadly our hopes of having a great meal came crushing down with a couple of Tikka Masalas that were really bland. The super boring and doughy Naan disappointed us even further. As an unhappy coda...one in our company spent a night at the bathroom (and a day in bed) afterwards. Take your money to the nearby Buddha Tandoori instead. That’s a really good Indian restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff.More

Hidden gem! Don’t miss out!

Stumbled across this restaurant and thought we would give it a try. Starters onion bhaji,s and chicken pakoras best ever. Then Tender Lamb rogan josh! absolutely the best! Chicken tikka masala, mild but spicy! Oh, yumm! Rice and garlic naan! Absolutely lovely meal, Service great!...Will be back!More

Lovely Indian lunch

Very good Indian good. Poppadoms and chutney were excellent. Prawn jalfrezi and dhansak for mains - quite spicy but the lovely lady waitress managed to tone down the Jalfrezi as I found it too hot! Overall a pleasant experience. Good food. Reasonable priced and excellent...waitress. Would return.More

Brilliant service from Sid, Theresa and Lucia

Best Indian!

Excellent service and even better food! Could not recommend this place enough. Every single thing we ate was perfect, particularly the bhaji’s! Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely restaurant with great vegan options

After having spent a few days in Madeira struggling to find decent vegan food, we decided to find an Indian restaurant and came across this place. We're so glad we did!!! All of the staff are really friendly, attentive and chatty - the owner even...offered to adapt some dishes to dairy-free. The restaurant was fairly busy but we never felt ignored. The food was excellent, we didn't have bad dish! I probably enjoyed the chutneys and pickles with the poppadoms the most, very unique and interesting flavours. Obviously can't comment on the meat dishes but all of the other diners in the restaurant seemed to enjoy theirs. Thank you and if we're ever in Madeira again we will be back ❤️More

BEST PLACE we ate at all holiday and the Best INDIAN food I’ve ever had! Really good prices too.

Came here with my girlfriend in August and the service along with the food was incredible. All the front of house staff were friendly. The owner was very kind and chatty. He helped us choose from the menu when we were being indecisive. He gave...great recommendations. It was the nicest Indian food I’ve ever had and for a really good price too. The restaurant had a very relaxing but lively atmosphere so it didn’t feel as though it was just you in there. Would definitely recommend anyone staying in Madeira to come and eat here.More
