Very tasty food, accommodating for a guest who was gluten intolerant, friendly and helpful waiting staff, reasonably priced no-nonsense food. Would recommend.

We eat there for dinner. After all the good reviews,we were very disappointed. The appetizers are fresh out of the can, and just put on the plate without any love. The fish was out of the fridge and the supplements reminded of canteen food. We do not recommend eating there in the evening.

The meal itself it is slightly above average but the friendliness of the staff is amazing. The portions are above average and staff can help you choose the food if you haven't decided what you want to eat. It seams to be a busy place full of hungry people.

Normally restaurants connected to a market are fantastic but sadly this isn’t the case with this restaurant. Totally full of tourists never a good sign. We had garlic bread, and tomato and onion soup with an egg in it to start, so far so good. We then tried our first Scabbard fish, which had a surprisingly soft flesh, a little... More

Plenty of delicious food which was very welcome after long day's walk. Atmosphere and service maybe not as good as some of the other cheap eats we went to but still yummy and good value.

We were there for lunch and dinner on the same day. Lunch was tasty and with nice portions, while dinner was awful. The restaurant doesn't look the same, the portions were tiny and even the bolo do caco that was really good at lunch at dinner it was nothing special. The staff was friendly.
