We stopped at this café for a snack during a walk of the promenade (about an hour's walk each way) - and the views, the service and the cheap price made it a perfect place to relax for a while.

The setting for this fish restaurant couldn't be any nearer the sea. Even indoors the windows are open to a wonderful view right on the rocks. We originally intended to eat dinner here one evening but it didn't quite fit in our plan. As we were so keen to eat here at least once we managed to fit lunch in... More

This restaurant specialises in fresh fish and has a reasonably varied menu to suit all tastes. Right on the coast with wonderful views out to see and also the cliffs of Camara de Lobos. The food is well presented and beautifully cooked and there is a romantice atmosphere in the restaurant. We go there every year during our 3 week... More

Ordered fresh fish & prawns but didn't eat most of it as smothered in some sort of spicy tomato looking sauce. Deserts were mostly out of a packet, not freshly made, didn't order any. Just asked for the bill and left quickly.

We came on the recommendation of a local and were not disappointed. Service was quick, cheerful and courteous. We ordered fish soup, a mixed seafood grill and grilled sardines and a half bottle of wine to go with the meal. As with such fresh produce the taste was superb. There was nothing to fault. We left feeling satisfied!

The fish was really good and tasty and we will never forget the fantastic oceanview. It was a little bit expensive, but worth it.

Recommend the catch of the day...very dry...boiled vegetables and cold potatoes. When paying was told it was 1.2kg...for 2 people!!! We ate very little and was totally disappointed. Will not return. The location is very nice.

Location by the sea is superb but the food is not so. We had a chewy octopus in vinaigrette and were recommended the grilled catch of the day for main course but it was unseasoned and dry, served with boiled to death veg and old potatoes. We ate very little and explained to the staff about the dry fish but... More

Sitting in the open air under an umbrella watching the sun set over Cabo Girau while eating a superb fish platter is difficult to beat. Go and enjoy. We have on many occasions.
