One of the best dining experiences on the island, staff were super nice and accommodating, let us sit outside and watch the view, dishes were tasty and fresh and well cooked. The fish of the day was probably the best fish I had in Madeira...and Porto Santo. Great seafood well cooked, and our waiter was super nice and friendly, a great front of house. The only short coming was the desert, the meringue was so soft it was almost glue like, would recommend removing that option in future from the menu.More
Arrogantly overrated . Spiders on the walls and ceiling . Red wine served HOT . Salad from the supermarket plastic wrapping dropped on the plate and upgraded with a few pineapple cubes was served as Exotic Salad ????? . Same supermarket Bread was spread with...a fat layer of butter and some green sprinkles . To make it “ chique” . While the room temperature was unbearable.Clients waving menu cards to get some air . NO AIRCO! And to finish a hot banana swimming in sugar syrup and same supermarket vanilla ice with frozen crystals . ( arrogantly called banana flambé- without any flames !)
Bad . Bad . Bad .More

You want to start selling from your garden the salad? And can you do the bread for me then ?
C'mon are you joking? All of the salad and bread are homemade and you could not find it On any of the supermarkets.
Fantastic seafood, beautifully prepared and presented. The chef Helena is lovely and really cares about your experience. We ate shrimps in black beer, tuna, red snapper and sea bass. All delicious. Beautiful views of the sea below. Highly recommend

I truly recommend this spot! I was delighted with the food and the amazing view over such a perfect sea.
Helena is an incredible host and cooker. Casa Do Velho Dragoeiro is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit Porto Santo.
We spend a wonderful dinner thanks to the welcoming staff, the delicious food and the charming view of the ocean.
We had the pleasure to chat with Helena, the talented and creative chef of this house, who is also a dynamic and elegant woman. Thank...you for your kindness and your tasty plates.
P.S.: I forgot to mention the divine desserts!!!More
