Very nice restaurant, good food, friendly and capable service. The restaurant is normally opened, on tripadvisor is mentioned as closed. Great choices of regional and Portuguese wines.

Very nice location, a lot quieter than the busier streets. The staff were really pleasant and friendly. The grilled sea bass was excellent, really delicious! The chocolate mousse was also really good. The cheese board was a bit too expensive for the quality, but still...pleasant. Lastly, I felt very safe dining here as every table was provided with hand sanitizers and all the staff were wearing their masks properly. Would visit again!More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it is just a minute walk from our hotel. It is famous locally and frequented by lots of locals. It is a traditional Portuguese restaurant so food are a bit rustic and it stressed on ingredient. We had bacalhau...Chef style and grilled fish. Delicious and fresh ingredient. The fish paste in the couvert was good. Excellent service from the beginning to the end. Recommended. (and better make reservation)More

Had a wonderful lunch at Cozinha da Se. A nice modern restaurant, centrally located, and if you sit at the right spot you could have a nice view as well. The food was very good, and the service was excellent from the welcoming, until it...was time to go. The waiter is just the right amount of attentive. Would go again next time I'm in Braga.More

Well decorated restaurant in white. Nice staffs and delicious food in quite mood. We took bread bag & homemade pate, Octopus as a starter, and monkfish seafood rice along with green white wine. Everything was delicious!! I would strongly recommend to reserve a table in...advance. That night was also fully booked..More

We have been going to Cozinha Da Se for years and this was the first time we visited the restaurant at its new location. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it did. The decor is gorgeous. clean fresh interior, that would...not be out of place in Oporto or Lisbon. Traditional Portuguese menu served in a modern setting. Brilliant service at a good price, not to mention a quality bottle of wine We took our 4 year old and they were more than accommodating. The multi-lingual menu is ready for all tourists however it’s always busy with locals so that says it all. Highly recommended.More

We had a dinner at this restaurant based on recommendations from our hotel and it was wonderful. The place is really nice and cozy, the services friendly. They have ready some appetizers on the table when you arrive (like in many other places in Portugal)...which you can reject but we kept them and they were delicious. We asked for recommendation for a red wine and I liked that we were not pushed to chose the most expensive wine. We ordered a steak (costeleta) which was a highlight of our trip to Portugal, and bacalao with vegetables for one (comes with extra side dishes) which ended up being such a huge portion we could not finish it but it was very well prepared. I would definitely come back!More

I found this restaurant while wandering in the Braga city center looking for a place to have dinner after 10pm. I had the grilled sliced cod fish soaked in hot olive oil with onion and garlic (tiborna). The sides were oven baked potatoes and cabbage....For dessert I had the chocolate mouse. Everythig was delicious, but if you really like chocolate mouse you shouldn’t miss this one.More
