One of the best for the typical 'Tripas'! Beautiful rooms that haven't change for years! Nice staff and service.

This restaurant is hidden away just behind the Grand Hotel(Hotel Grande Do Porto), and so just off the Rua de Santa Catarina. We were lucky as we were told about it by our hotel receptionist - "If you want real Portuguese food, go to Abadia". So we went. Superb food - try the tripe stew!! The wines are good too... More

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant and I wouldn't return. The food was just okay and it was on the expensive side.

The prices are high compared to other restaurants we have been in Porto. The waiters are speaking english and french. The food was ok and the service fast.

We were put on a table in the corner and had to wait about 20 minutes for our food after ordering. The wine we ordered was not available and they provided an alternative without asking us. The prices were average and the portions were substancial. Overall not a great experience, would not use again.

We have a house in Porto and come to the city often. Abadia was a great restaurant in the past, but standards hava gone down tremendously - perhaps with competition now that Porto has grown into a trendy holiday destination. Yesterday dinner was very bad and I would recommend against going to this place. Not only the food was tastless... More

We had to wait in line for about 20 minutes, so I suggest you get a reservation for dinner time. Friendly and attentive staff. We ordered the Picanha and were not disappointed!

It's the most tradicional place I know in Porto. The decoration is very cosy. It remmbers me the old kitchens from my chilhood, the kitchens from my grandmams. The food is very good. Bacalhau à Gomes de Sá, polvo and Arroz de Pato are my favorites.

Very famous among students this restaurant is a reference on all the universities in Porto. The food is good but not amazing. A bit over priced.
