This is a typical Restaurant in Porto, where you can find different kinds of typical dishes. Very good starters, big portions (can be share), great list of wine, staff very very kind. I have already been there a lot of times.

although restaurant is too big for my liking, the food was very good. The waiter didn't try to push us in expensive directions but gave us some useful advice. The goat dish was succulent, shellfish rice very good as well.

Hey Carol. Yes, it's about 300m nearby. You can call and make a reservation just to be sure, but it's not really necessary. Enjoy your meal :)

Yes, I think you can. You just have to call them a few days before. Maybe 10 or 15, as the Pope visit is going to bring a lot of people to the country.
