Small restaurant behind the main street, really cheap and enough tasty. 5 stars in terms of quality/price.

The menu is cheap but the quality of food is low too and the wine is overpriced. The worst part, the chocolate mousse.

We were recommended this spot by our local tour guide and it certainly didn't disappoint. They have a new menu every night handwritten on a piece of paper. There's all of maybe 10 tables there (maybe less?) so getting in can be tricky. Service is a bit underwhelming but when you have two guys running the whole place and wearing... More

What a find! Small restaurant in the 'back' streets, but a great place. People were lovely, although didn't speak much english at all. Menu is hand written and quite basic. I had the grilled fish which was delicious. Amazing value, good portions and tasty food. Would definitely recommend.

The food is simple but excellent. They really do not speak any foreign languages very well... and that is the reason why this place is so typical and special. Excellent value!

An excellent venue. Plentiful tasty traditional dishes at a very reasonable price. We loved the family atmosphere and prompt service. A real find just off the Main Street.

I have visited this small family restaurant, first is 2014, then is 2016. The business lunch is marvelous cheap! Just only $5 urea, include soup, bread, meat, desert or fruit, and cafe! It's transitional Portugal family food, and the hosts are very kindly.

We,ve just had a mid day meal here. There were some French tourists, and Portuguese in the small restaurant. The main server, a friendly man, speaks a little French. My husband and I thought this was excellent value for the money, and we enjoyed the fact the menu is written on a piece of paper place mat, as was the... More

Where can you get a 3 course meal, home made, inside 10 mins, for just 5 euro? With Mum doing the magic in the kitchen, & Dad working the floor, you can just sit back & enjoy. I had soup, 2 ,lovely pieces of fish n' veg, & strawberrys for desert. Brillant! !

Visited this restaurant the other night having walked past and thought iit looked interesting. Its a 2 man/woman show, with the man frantically serving people and the lady knocking out great food from a tiny kitchen. Limited, authentic Portuguese menu with the best sardines we have possibly ever had. The set menu was only €5 per person and it came... More
