After visiting Lisbon and Aveiro, came to Porto and caught a cold. The staffs were so friendly and they brought me hot lemon water and some liquor( on the house). Amazing service! The pork Rib is amazing , Tuna tartare is also great , I...would say this is a fusion restraint and great for foreigners like me.More

Tasco in Porto is undoubtedly the best dining experience I've ever had. Each and every single member of staff were out of this world, recommending dishes, chatting to us and even remembering our names. The food is also truly stunning; I'd highly recommend the veal...dish - the carrots and mash potato accompaniments are truly divine. If there's one place you need to eat in Porto, it HAS to be Tasco. Although it's a little on the pricey side, I guarantee it's worth every penny and the whole dining experience will be so memorable.More

Tasco is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service is fantastic and the staff will put you at ease as soon as you arrive. Cocktails are very original and tasty, and the food is top notch whatever you take. The presentation...is amazing. Overall that’s the best restaurant staff as everyone is so nice and bring something unique to your nightMore

With Portuguese cuisine enjoying a serious renaissance, even Lisbon aficionados will admit that Porto is a great food town. Tascö deserves its place at the top of the list. Although it was early January, we will surely remember our dinner there as a best meal...of the year, with every sense finely rewarded, the entire staff authentically enthusiastic, and the last bite as good as the first. You could call Tascö’ style an intentional blend of adventurous and distinctly Portuguese. We had great success with a generously portioned tapas approach, beginning with Adamus on-the-rocks, a deliciously floral grape-based local gin from the bartender-chef’s knowledgeable selection, and crispy caranguejo (soft-shelled crab), followed by a second leisurely round of 12-hour costelinhas (pork ribs), braised vitela (veal cheeks) with mashed potatoes and truffles, and eparregado (creamed spinach) primed with nutmeg. The wine was Romaneira, a brilliantly rounded red that showed off the best of the Douro. Tascö’s intimate minimalist setting and a quirky playlist that ran from blues and funk to boss nova accompanied the food to perfection. The entire experience was so good, we found it one of the few places that honestly left us wishing we had appetite enough to eat our way through the entire menu. Without hesitation, a rare 10 out of 10.More

Food, drink and service all extraordinary. This restaurant should be kept on the top instead of those sponsored tourist traps.

We had a wonderful experience at Tasco! The food, drinks and service were phenomenal! We had the seared tuna, ceviche salmon, ribs, and veal. Along with rice and potatoes. The dishes were exceptional! It is now on our list of places to return to next...time in Porto!More

We are short of words to describe how Tascö’s experience was. All of the waiters were SO toughtful and friendly, making us feel special and at home from the start. The cocktails are amazing. The food is divine (I would say the best I have...ever had). Every dish seems tailor made for you, their attention to details made you feel unique. If you go, please order TANGERINA for dessert. Tascö’s crew you are the best.More

From the moment you walk into Tasco, the team genuinely seem pleased to see you. Knowledgable and helpful with both food and wine selections, it’s the staff that make the experience special. Food was an intriguing blend of traditional Portuguese flavours with a contemporary twist...from The Clam fritter Amuse Bouche to the Cod with Spinach. Best for us though we’re the Pork Ribs, slow cooked for 11 hours and served with a punchy BBQ spice, just super. 3 courses with some great wine came to €70 which just shows you don’t need to over charge for excellent food delivered with great service. Add a visit to your trip to Porto but judging by how full it was at 7.30, best to book!More

based on all excellent reviews, we booked it as our first restaurant in Porto. Please note, we just came from Lisbon, we know what is a good restaurants! excellent meal experience started with house special cocktail recommended by Miguel (see photo), then moved on to...free crab cakes and bread with 2 of their truffle butter and little chilly sauce. First round: grilled giant tiger prawn (freshly/the biggest ones picked up from the market in the morning according miguel), grill fish with amazing mixture at bottom (veggie and others i don't recall). second round: slow cooked braised pork ribs, this just melt with your fork, i did asked for chilly sauce to give another kick (just personals favor, wife finished her portion with no problem. finished with dessert please see dessert photos. Perfect finally. now we called a prefect meal with excellent service. we truly enjoyed the whole 1.5 hours thereMore
