We went for breakfast. People at the counter were not nice at all. We had two cappuccino that were good but the croissants were too spongy and they make us pay 1.30 euro for the salt butter we didn't eat.

We walked past all those tourist traps and decided this is where the locals eat. All I wanted was a toasted sandwich and chips and that is what I got Porto style. Not a Franceshina but nearly. We didn't need to eat anything else for the rest of the day. The service was a bit slow, but when we saw... More

I wanted to try one of the refreshing juices that they displayed outside. I wanted a mango and papaya juice, but they said they can only do one ingredient for one person. I thought they were mixing it at the moment, but they just gave me an already prepared mango juice from the fridge, which tasted as if it had... More

Just right across out hotel. The croissants and the natural juices are really good. We had breakfast there everyday during our stay. Affordable prices and ok service, good for breakfast and I've heard meals are good as well, if you are not looking for fancy this is a good option!

Across the street from our hotel, at 730 am, I found a warm, friendly restaurant and snack bar with great pastries and good coffee. The freshly-made natas were great. I had two of them and two more each morning! I could become a fatty on these flaky, custard-filled pastries. Lunch provided a fresh fish that was a Portuguese specialty and... More

Close proximity to our hotel in Porto. Good menu, ample seating either inside or outside if the weather is fine. Appeared to be favored by locals

Don't be put off because it looks like just another cafe in a touristy square. These people care about what thay do and they do it with apparent ease and considable skill. They food is not flashy but it's good. Ask for a bottle of wine and the only question will be 'red or white?'. But the bottle of red... More

This is a good place for a beer at the end of the day, located in a good place in Porto, where you can see tons of people. I was with a friend and we took two beers with peanuts and payd 6,20 Euros. The waiter and the owner (I guess) are friendly, the place is clean and amazing. Worth... More

We had to wait more than hour and half for having our food. When it comes the waiter forgot to bring 3 meals. We left without finishing the meal. To sum up: terrible service, the order was mistaken and missed a few dishes, the waiter was really rude and at the end the lunch was not enjoyable !

We were pleasantly surprised when we were expecting a fast food sit down, but were served great soup and a fantastic (abundant) portion of rissois, which when I queried why it was so big, the waiter assured me we would only pay for what we ate. I them ordered a solha and red rice and licked my fingers, it was... More
