The food is delicious, very reasonably priced and it has a great location near the city centre. The staff is lovely, Andreas made us feel at home and looked after. Great place to have a nice dinner after a long day of walking through the busy streets of Athens.

First the food it is amazing. Extremely fresh seafood. I literally inhaled my food. The wine is an excellent blend with our food. Kostas is our server for tonight, service is superb. He is very helpful, attentive and will provide you with excellent recommendation. I would definitely come back to this place.
Kostas even hook us up with a free fruit platter for dessert. The prices are very reasonable. Overall, I would come back to this place in a heart beat. Kostas thanks for a superb service.

I came here to try some local cuisine and was not disappointed! I ordered a salad and squid ink pasta - food was very tasty and fresh and the portions were quite generous. All the staff were very nice, particularly Andreas! Andreas was very friendly and provided the great food recommendations😊. He also went to the effort to make sure I was able to have a half portion of the salad as I wouldn’t be able to finish a whole one, since I was dining alone. I’ve been travelling all around Europe and can confidently say I have received the best service at this restaurant. Highly recommend!

Worst lamb chunk ever - in and outside of Greece.
My wife had the vegetarian pasta which was good but not hot enough.
Bread fresh and good but we had better.
The olive spread thy act came was it was the best.
They don’t have “0.5 lt house wine” as we got used to in Greece but the cheapest red , at 15€, was pretty good.
They didn’t force bottled water on you as most Athens restaurants do (we had tap water which are perfectly fine in Athens - but not in the islands...).
The desert was fruits. Not bad but first for us so far. All restaurants so far have free cake (or similar) for free desert.

Your experience falls way below our standards
We can ever please 100% of people 100% all the time no matter how hard we try but we never stop trying
Our cuisine echoes our passion for the flavors and aromas of authentic Greek cuisine. Undiminished freshness and simplicity is our goal
This is the first case we’ve heard about...

Chris was an excellent waiter- he gave us great menu recommendations and made sure that we felt comfortable and happy. We ordered the fried cheese and pork souvlaki, and Chris brought us a complimentary plate of fruit and a shot after our meal. The meal and overall atmosphere of the restaurant were both wonderful.

We ate here today and Andreas was our host. We ordered the grilled cheese with pine nuts and raspberry as a starter, and the lamb shank with potatoes as one main and the grilled octopus as another,all of which was beautiful. It's an authentic Greek restaurant with fab food and Andreas gave us fresh fruit and a mastika drink on the house. Great service! Would highly recommend!

We were in Lithos on a Monday night. We ordered cheese balls, grilled octopus and grilled salmon, and everything was amazing, very fresh.
Our waiter, Chris, was ready to answer any question about the menu and to accommodate our orders.
COVID-19 wise, everyone was wearing face mask properly and the distance between tables was maintained accordingly (something that we haven’t seen in every restaurant in Athens)

Had been recommended Lithos by a freind who had been before so were keen to experience it also. Although Athens is not as busy as usual, we were welcomed in a warm freindly way. I like to take my time to look at menus and was not rushed in any way. Service was very on point and the food was of a high quality with great presentation. I would highly recommend I visit here and would definitely return. Thanks to Stavros and Christos for taking care of us so well.... Definitely a highlight to our trip.

I rarely eat at restaurants at this part of the town, even though the location is great, because of the "tourist" orientation most of them have. But "Lithos" was a pleasant surprise. I' ve been here a couple of times, with a few friends and loved the consistency in service and food quality. The staff is pleasant, polite and friendly. They make you feel at ease without overbearing you. The kitchen and service is fast, even at rush hour. The raw materials are great. I love all their cheeses. Do try talagani with forest fruit sauce. I especially liked the salmon and the liver, but can't choose between the freshly fried potatoes and perfectly cooked aromatic rice as a side dish. The cheesecake with raspberries and hazelnuts was just delicious! Lastly, but not least, the hygiene of the place and personnel is well looked after. So if you like Greek cuisine with a small spin and you happen to be at the centre of the city " Lithos" restaurant is a great place to eat.

We are a family of four (two teenagers) and had a lovely meal here.
Our daughter is coeliac so has to follow a strict gluten free diet - whilst not an enormous amount of choice for her they definitely understood the need for separation etc.
We were all happy with our food and the service was great also, very friendly waiter happy to explain and ask kitchen staff also.

This restaurant is located in a very hip and happening Psyri in Athens. For dinner, we ordered the moussaka and lamb shank. We love the the moussaka! You must give it a try! The layers of eggplant, potatoes, ground beef and cream were very well balanced. The baklava dessert was humongous for the price that we paid!! Dionisis, our super friendly and wonderful server certainly made a great impression on us. Thanks to him we understood why Greek moussakas are different from other Mediterranean moussakas; and also recommended which Ouzo to order (varvagianni green) and with ice (!!). We were given a complimentary big plate of fresh fruits to finish.

No one is trying to persistently get you to walk in and in that area that is a nice twist. The service is friendly and the waiter guides you through the menu according to your preferences in a nice way.
We were craving for grilled seafood and ordered the octopus, which came with a tempered eggplant “salad”, and the grilled calamari which has a side serving of eggfish.
Can’t remember the name of the dry white wine we ordered by the glass but it was refreshing, but lacking character.
Owner offered us a shot of alcohol made from gumtree. Peculiar and sweet. Nice man who is, like most Greeks, feeling the crisis the hard way.
Great spot, we will be back.

We traveled to Italy before here, and this restaurant is by far the best I’ve had in my Europe travels. The food was outstanding, our waiter Dionissus was fantastic and attentive and really took care of us, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly. I can’t stress enough how delicious the food is; my group and I split 4 meals and 2 appetizers and everything was phenomenal. Come here immediately when you land in Athens!!!

I don’t usually write reviews but this one is well deserved. Great local food, wonderful location but more than that what really deserves five stars is the kidness and the expertise of Andreas and the rest of the staff. I have noticed they never miss to smile once to all the customers and they really took care of the clients in a wonderful way. Not the usual restaurant for tourists, you can really enjoy great dishes at a very reasonable price also. Bravo!

Amazing food here, i had the lamb shank which i’ve been looking for throughout the country. This is the best ever! The food is really amazing.
Fabriel, our waiter, was really welcoming, patient in explaining the dishes and even advised us on what to try for dessert. One of the best food experience we had since a long time.
