Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an enjoyable enough evening but honestly, there are far better places you can go here in Athens. The food was fine, sure, but it was average. Do deeper research. It's just average - food, service, average.

We stayed above the restaurant so visited Lithos ion the first night. What a place! Great service from Lee. The wine was reasonable cost wise but excellent. No draft beer but plenty of range with bottles. The food was first class - mousakka was herby...and well cooked and presented, the pork chops could have fed 2 and was perfectly marinated and spiced. All round first class - we will be eating here again during the stay.More

Beautiful setting with a view of the Acropolis. Staff were super friendly menu was Greek but extensive. Desserts lavish. Most of the restaurants in this local have similar menus but this restaurant lived up to best of Greek cuisine. Really enjoyed the food loved the...dessert and definitely try to visit again on my brief holidayMore

Came here on the great reviews and it did not disappoint! Ordered Greek salad, seafood rice plate, and chicken souvlaki and they were all very nicely done. Host Vaggelis was very friendly as well, had a good time!

Thank you so much to Lee and everyone at Lithos Tavern for making our experience in Athens so wonderful! We had a fantastic meal paired with delicious wine and Lee was such a great server - he even made sure when I forgot the cork...to the bottle of our wine I asked for to track us down and return it! 10/10 recommend!More

I was very pleased with the server and the food. He made some recommendations that we took. Their bread was fresh and delicious. Our server was a British and Greek gentleman. He was cool and had a great attitude. Thank you!!

Our first night in Athens from Perth, Australia and our hotel recommended this restaurant at a very good central location. The food was traditional and delicious, the wine was wonderful and the service was awesome. Lee, our waiter, was great too - excellent service and...he had a fun personality (it always helps!) If you’re in Athens definitely go here!More

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food, especially the Musaka, was absolutely delicious. We also had the pleasure of trying some excellent Greek wines. The service was exceptional, and Vaggelis was incredibly kind, imparting valuable insights into Greek wine and culture.
