Near the temple of Zeus, after a nice walk in the ancient times, stop to Fresko smoothie bar for a delicious drink or a good greek yogurt, ice-creams, and also different sort of cakes; friendly service; you will like to return.

We went there attracted by the fame of Greek yoghurt and the wide variety of toppings. The place was busy but not packed. However one serving that honey which was not asked for (Euro 0.20 added) and the other had berries as a second fruit which was not asked (I am not sure whether this attracted extra cost). At the... This place is incredible for those who love yoghurt. I personally Froyo too sweet, the yoghurt is sweet enough and then adding toppings can get a bit much but Fresco is perfect if you prefer natural or Greek yoghurt. They have a range of freshly made traditional Greek yoghurts to choose from including 2% 8% and 10% fat. Wide range... More

My wife and I went to Fresco our last morning before leaving Athens and it didn't disappoint. Me not being a big fan of Greek yogurt, I enjoyed what my wife picked out for me. We both had cappuccinos with our yogurt and even that was amazing. If you want something good, quick and budget friendly I would head to... More

Situated a matter of moments from our hotel, Fresco Yoghurt Bar was a refreshing start to the day. With a large selection of available sauces, toppings, fruit and jams, you're spoilt for choice. We went for the simple honey and walnut with full fat Greek yogurt, although it's worth mentioning for those watching their figures, there are low fat alternatives... More

Amazing greek yogurt and honey. They also have a lot of smoothies options with fruits, plus its on the way to the acropolis museum. The staff is very friendly. The only low point is that it has just a couple of tables outside the store.

Thank Nicole H

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
