One of the best places in the northern suburbs for casual meetings with friends. Coffees and desserts are fantastic and service always efficient.

Went with friends for drinks and food. Waitor was very polite and eager to help. Cocktails were good. Startes were OK but in small portions as you would expect from a starter. Burger was delicious, although the service was a bit slow. Would definitely visit again

Gaspar is a good meeting point for business reasons as well as with friends. It has smoking space separately. The atmosphere with DJ music is really good. Drinks and list of wines is good, average food but good sushi. Prices are Overestimated. Parking space next to Gaspar.

Been there on a week day and i ordered sushi. It was surprising excellent. Especially the salmon fantasy and the ebi tempura rolls! Also the drinks we had were very good. If you are in the area you must go!

Excellent food and drink, and a true non smoking room (with walls!) available. Service is friendly and very helpful. Food is not cheap, but portions are generous and made with special care and refinement not seen in other area restaurants. Mixed drinks are very pricey, but large in quantity and worth a splurge. All worth the extra cost. Would like... More

I really don't understand how Greeks make a place popular!! I mean what is their criteria!!as a cafeteria is not bad!! I liked the decor like you are in a library but all the rest were mediocre!! From fois to service n staff!!

I went there last evening with my friend. We ordered meatballs+fried potatoes as an appetizer, which were well cooked but the potatoes were small potato sticks (this is something I personally don't like because I cant understand the taste of the potato) and a green liquid served as a side dish was called "dip" (13€). As a main dish I... More

Been there quite a few times, either for coffee or for food. I have always dealt with excellent service, great atmosphere, good music, variety of tastes, and it is clean (eg wc..)

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
