It is a restaurant-bar that has "class". I think that in Gazi area it is the only sophisticated restaurant. The food is delicious, very good wine list. I strongly recommend it for everyone

i have visited this nice restaurant several times, and it has never disappointed me. it always exceeds my expectations.ok, it might be just a bit pricy but the food and the atmosphere well deserve it. you should try it, i believe that it one of the best choices in the area, and probably in the whole of Athens.

This is a super cosy place with a vintage aesthetic and a feel good, artistic aura. Indeed it makes a difference in the Gazi area, which is the king of mainstream entertainment. The food is also very good: creative, Mediterranean dishes prepared with fine ingredients. I particularly liked the velvety pumpkin soup which they bring gratis, as a starter, the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by local people so we could try some of the authentic Greek cuisine. We all loved it! They serve great bread as appetizers with shots of soup! Yes shots of soup! The pita bread with grilled beef is delicious! And the taboule with Greek yogurt is amazing. Don't forget to ask for a local... More

You just want to come back to that place every day! Highly recommended if you are looking for a friendly service combined with deli dishes. It is the place in Athens where you can taste traditional products in a very creative way with flavours to fulfil your appetite!

Everything is in the title ! I should add: Local decoration, good size meal, thoughtful staff. They're also a good fun to talk to. We went there just before going to a gig at Gazarte, which is a 3 min walk away.

I travel to Athens every year for work, and my Greek coworkers are all foodies, many involved in the fine food industry. This is where we go to get very well priced, well made, tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere, using top ingredients with some flair! A multi-course meal, with wine, will only set you back 20 about euros, and... More

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
