Popped in for a drink: location is excellent, outside tables beautifully located in shade. Sadly waiter was a bit grumpy. Seems like a good menu. Will probably walk past next time.......

This here tiny cafe/restaurant serves the best fried meatballs (Greek: Keftedes) in town, accompanied by great french fries. Special view too and you can also try the nice cocktails. The whole establishment is very clean and almost cheap for the location.

This is a nice quiet place, with comfortable outside seating, excellent service and very good food. After a day of walking we were really pleased to be served big glasses of water, with ice, before we ordered! We enjoyed our meal, the relaxed atmosphere, and...More

The best ice cream, quiet place, friendly staff. It's not near Acropolis, but near a mountain Likavitos, right next to the elevator.

The location is great (right by a little dig site)! The food was rather good but not extraordinary. The wait staff was attentive. The prices were reasonable. I would probably go back.

This place is really nice! It is in the busiest and most touristic part of the Greek capital where space is precious and prices are high. Here you have your space under the trees, able to relax after a tiring walk on the hills of...More

Ordered some simple dishes, an omelette, club sandwich.... As opposed to my prejudiced expectation we were served quickly and kindly, the food was great (one can mess up simple dishes), not to mention the location.....

This was the first restaurant we came to after a long day of walking all over Athens, and all we wanted was to rest and get some coffee, so we had no expectations and were very pleasantly surprised. I needed coffee desperately. Despite every table...More

Often in touristy areas the wait staff flock towards you like ducks in water to stale bread. When we walked near Veranda (Bepanta in Greek) they too had servers ready to react to the traveler’s slightest interest, but somehow it felt different—not pushy at all....More

The quality of the food is great: thick slices of pork for the gyro, amazingly zesty tzatziki. Just a few steps away from the Agora entrance -- a bit hidden though (on Panos Street), so not expensive. Wonderful kind servers!

By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is
