This is a "Mezedopolio" with really nice and tasty greek food. Not in the centre but close enough. It worths a visit

We met someone on the street (we obviously looked lost) who recognized that we were speaking French and she had previously lived in Lennoxville of all places so we chatted a while and she recommended this restaurant. Very nice enviroment. Very nice food from crete. We tried alot of things from the menu which were all nice. The prices were very good. Very nice cold beers. Going back for sure

Very good food: authentic Cretan recipes in a modern version, excellent apak and gamopilafo tasty salads. From the sweet banofi is among the best I've tried.

A charming little place off the central sq in kaisariani with tables on the sidewalk and, by and large, tasty Cretan food. Prices could be lower

We all love Mediterranean type diet . Greek food is excellent but you stroll the Plaka in quest of something other than a gyro, moussaka,lemon chicken or lamb..All with those pictured tourist meal . Then along comes Rakaki, Crete food with a touch of flare in a true Athenian neighborhood , a 5 Euro drive from the Hilton. Amazing, local... More

Rakaki Restaurant at Kaisariani is dedicated to mediterranean and cretan cusisine. Here you will taste authentics cretan flavors and traditionally homemade foods.
Yoy will try delicious roast lamb, traditional Cretan wedding pilaf, makarounes, Cretan staka with eggs, and exceptional snails.
