It was a pleasure to witness how they do the cocktails, everything very high level, equipment, precision, everything! Cocktails were tasty as well)). I guess it's not the cheapest place in Athens (~ Eur10 for one cocktail), but if you're on vacation - why not :)

Nice atmosphere with good music. The perfect place to drink a tasteful cocktail. The service was very good and the drinks at fair prices. The right place to drink a couple of drinks and start your night.

I visited the world renown "Baba Au Rum" on my own on a Saturday night whist having a short break in Athens. Even though the bar was very busy, I received a warm welcome, and made to feel very comfortable. The bar staff are very talented, handsome young men and love to entertain you with their cocktails making skills. The... More

I really liked this place. Interior is retro 50-60. Great bar with a lot of rum and very cool drinks in tiki style mugs.

Non smokers bar (there is an area outside that you can smoke) with great music and cocktails. Wide variety of liquers from Latin America

The worst experience ever. We received our drinks after one hour from the order. The waitress used cheap excuses for her mistake telling us that the order had lost. After her apologise we waited for another half an hour for our drinks. Not to mention the Poor decoration and the music choises. As regards their best known coctails, there were... More

One of a rapidly growing number of urban bars in the rapidly revitalizing historic center of Athens, just 700 meters north of the edge of Plaka. One of the older establishments and quite well known. No spectacular view at this place but the atmosphere is quintessentially Athens urban chic. Great drinks, fair prices and well worth a visit.

I visited this place with one of my friends after work and we had a great time! The coctails had unique and impressive taste and i would say that is was one of the best i have ever drink! The atmosphere was also unique and the staff very friendly. We really relaxed and had a great time after work.

Cocktails were huge ice blocks with little alcohol. I've been to a few of the best bars in the world.... this is definitely not one of them! No finger food, or arrangement of nuts.... really disappointing. Lots of smoke, very loud music early in the evening. Aggressive Indian man tried to sell roses and would not hear no. Small place,... Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
