I so wish I'd read trip advisor before we went out to eat in Athens but we'd had a long day travelling and as everywhere else we'd eaten in Greece had been good we thought we'd take our chances. Big mistake. It looks good but that's all that's nice about this place. Food is average but far more expensive than... More

We did not. Big mistake. Always check on TripAdvisor... inflated prices and average quality food. Mediocre house wine for 20 Eur per liter? Big mistake.

First of all the location is great. That is what this place has got going for it. THAT IS IT! The food is dry, bland and very overpriced. After the server brings our food he disappears never to be seen again. Instead this incredibly rude and pushy man brings out check and lectures us about how the tip is not... More

I have travelled around 31 countries and this is the worst restaurant I have ever experienced. I am rating it 1star because there is no option of giving it any worse, as it almost spoiled our day in Athens. After the meal, the bill came and it was 123euro, but the waiter said that we need to pay 147euro rather... More

We had walked by it several times and the lady out front was nice and inviting, always saying they had music....so we decided to try it for a light dinner. We got a table about half way up the street next to the two musicians. We order a fairly expensive bottle of wine and the yogurt dip with fried eggplant... More

They have quite nice food, situated in Plaka, but beware! You'll get geated if not paying attention!. We ordered fish from the meny, they gave us another which costed twice as much. We order wine, they gave us an extremely expensive one. The bill was total 175 euros, they charged us 207 euros, "extra service". We did not discover until... More

I don't know what possessed me to not check the reviews before eating here. If I had, I wouldn't have dined here because I agree with the negative reviews. This place is a tourist trap! I thought maybe the food can't be that bad since it's surrounded by so much competition, boy was I wrong. This was our first sit... More

Eat here on a whim without checking the reviews and we should not have when there are so many excellent restaurants in this part of Athens. It was expensive with a charge for everything. The music was nice, but we were too far from the musicians to actually hear and enjoy it. The food was just OK, and not presented... More

These people are professional cheaters. Fool clients, charge them 20% extra with. O invoice and horrible service. The food one of the worst risotto we ever had. Left all. Spaghetti with stale smelling sauce. When you protest. The ordinary water says he owns the restaurant. Later the manager comes also and says nothing. The boss of course will never come... More

We went to this restaurant, we were a group of 6 adults n 1 child, starting from very high prices for really poor food, to bad service and arrogant behavior from the waiter. Forcibly asking for 20% service tax for some lousy music being played in the background.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
