Our group of 2 dropped in here for dessert after a large dinner, so we shared 1 of their signatures phyllo creations filled with chocolate hazelnut cream, with an espresso & a tea. The phyllo pastry shell was phenomenally firm yet flaky & crunchy. The cream filling was rich but VERY sweet. Excellent bitter espresso. Even at 10.30pm, the place... More

In this place, we had one of the best desserts ever. The "sweet of love" is awesome. I would call it "the epitome of chocolate". The praline accompanying the sweets is amazing. Looking forward to try more desserts of this place. I would just recommend to "Nancy's Sweet Home" to have more ice-cream selections such as strawberry, vanilla, orange. These... More

We tried 4 or 5 different cakes and they were all absolutely amazing. Also the personnel was very kind and there was even a piano player. Missing it would be a sin.

This old building in the middle of the popular area Psiri serves amazing desserts in massive portions. The quality of the individual plates is exceptional but the spirit of this type of culture is the sharing platters. Between 4 friends (and after guidance from our local friends) we ordered the sharing platter with 3 sweets and a mountain of delicious... More

We ordered a 2-pax combo + ice cream combo because we wanted to taste different things, and it was way more than we needed for 2 people! We could have easily shared a single dessert and probably should have! But it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! There were some traditional Greek desserts on the menu but we tried some chocolate cake things... More

The place is in the centre of Psiri district. The sweets are delicious. I strongly recommend the Kazan dipi! The price is reasonable in comparison with the taste and the amount! A place greatly appreciated by the Athenians. Do visit it!

There's honestly a great variety of sweets to choose from and the prices are, to say the least, reasonable for what is offered. The service was great and the people were helpful and informative. I would advise you though to choose 1 thing per two people, if you go there with company, and decide if you want more later, because... More

Although busy, the quality of the desserts is one of its kind. Huge portions and great chocolate. Definitely recommended!

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
