Christianna used to have her family restaurant elsewhere in Chania. We were delighted to rediscover her in Koum Kali, and have eaten by the sea shore several times this year. The food is very fresh, and tasty. While fairly traditional, it is a cut above the average, with good krassi, red and white, by the Carafe. Christianna's lively personality makes... More

What a place, been twice now, out of the main Harbour area in Koun Kapi, which is worth the extra 5/10 mins walk out of the tourist area. The food is exceptional. The Christianna Salad is the best salad I've tasted, figs, carrots, pomegranate seeds. I had the chicken in cream sauce, lovely subtle olive flavour and tender chicken made... More

This restaurant is out of the main tourist area around the corner from the harbour and down the coast. Tables outside are right by the sea so you get great views and the sound of the waves on the shore. To add to that the food is good as well. I went for the Briam and still cannot believe how... I took a group of friends here twice in September and both times the food and service was excellent . She makes the best Bureki on the island and her Christiana salad is so fresh and light with pomegranate and figs in . It's worth making the effort to walk to the end of the harbour to her restaurant as... More

I always enjoy visiting Christianna's a short walk from my hotel no hassle like at the harbour the food is excellent the local white wine is very acceptable. The marithes (whitebait) are worth a try in fact all the food on offer is of a high quality. Look forward to next May having a Fix Hellas watching the sea roll... More

We have stayed twice in Chania in the last year, and have eaten at most of the better restaurants. This one never disappointed either with the standard of food or the level on intelligent service. It is not over priced either. If you are staying in the centre it is worth the 5 minute walk to the "third bay" where the... More

I stopped by only for a quick lunch but it was really wonderful. I had the mussel saganaki and it was just delicious! Next time I come to Chania I must visit you again.

We went here based on recent reviews . It's located off the main harbour area, to the eastern sea side part of town and you can sense the area will continue to grow more touristy. Service was incredibly slow in this family run restaurant on the evening we went there. The food when it came, was more than plentiful and... More

We found this restaurant in 2015 and loved it and we have returned this year and we still love it! Christianna is such a fabulous host. She has a smile for every customer and also manages to have a few words with everybody, making for a lovely, friendly, warm welcome. She works tirelessly but her hard work ensures that the... More
