Another lovely meal. Such a relaxing, homely atmosphere and fantastic mezze. This place is tucked down a side street so keep your eyes pealed for it.

Seated in a cosy courtyard/garden just off a touristy street, we enjoyed an absolutely fantastic meal of different mezes for lunch. The waitress was very helpful and gave us tips on which mezes to order. We also had some delicious white wine. The prices are extremely reasonable, we paid 27 euros in total for the two of us. Definitely recommend... More

Lovely little place just away from the crowds, cool and tranquil with absolutely delicious food. Recommend the greek dips, fresh lemon juice and lemon butter sole. Unassuming friendly service, a real treat and inexpensive compared to many of the more touristy places around.

Fabulous, authentic food served in what seems to be someone's (incredibly beautiful) back garden. Plus great service. It's not hard to find, but is down a little alley so keep your eye out.

Beautifully situated in Rethymno for lunch or to dine under the lemon. The food is good but a little expensive, about € 50 for two.

What a find. This little taverna is off the one of the many small side streets on the older end of Rhytmno. It serves great local food, I really recommend the meze items. As the seating is in the garden with lemon trees, watch your head, a lemon could drop on it. This happened with us, but just added to... More

Set in a beautiful courtyard which has a lemon tree in the middle of the restaurant (Watch out for falling lemons!!). Offering authentic cretian meze and speciality dishes such as lamb kleftico. The food is inexpensive and quality is very good and this is matched by equally hospitable service. I would recommend visitors to come to this restaurant as it... More
