Food at this place is good, and the fish is fresh, but a waiting queue of 2 hours, is really not worth the trouble. We have been to taverns on the island, with equally nice food and fresh fish with zero time of waiting to be seated, or with at least a reservation possibility. Wasting 2 precious hours from your island holidays on the waiting line of a tavern is really not worth it, when you could be enjoying the beaches and cocktails, relaxing and having a proper summer holiday. Other than that, the serving was ok, clean tables. On the cons side though, most of the salads available at the salad bar where not listed in menu, so you do not really know what is available from the salad bar unless you get off your table and walk there, plus you do not know the cost of it.

We’ve been traveling to Mykonos for over 15 years now, and even though the island has changed into a millionaires playground, Kiki’s has kept its soul, quality, mystique and affordable prices. By far the best place to eat in Mykonos. I never wanted to write a review because it was our secret little place, but now it seems it’s reputation has superseded that! In an amazing off-the-beaten-track location with stunning views of the bay below, Kiki’s serves up the best salads I’ve ever eaten, beautiful and succulent chicken, pork chops and all types of seafood, but best of all is the hospitality and warmth of Vasili. I’ve visited various times with my parents, with friends from all over the world, and with my partner, and every time he greets you with a warm smile and a complimentary glass of wine or water while you wait. Yes there’s a wait, and yes you can’t leave the queue, but take some cards or take it in turns to go for a dip in the sea below the restaurant. Enjoy it for what it is.. a relaxing afternoon out and the food is more than worth the wait!!

Even on a Tuesday at the start of September, we found ourselves queuing for a bit at lunchtime, but with the free wine and tranquil views to drink in, it wasn't exactly a hardship. The waiter we had had a bit of personality to him, which is always fun, and then the food - oh my. One of the top review phrases for this place is 'pork chops' and when you get one, you can see why - they're the size of something that would overturn Fred Flintstone's car, so be sure to go with an appetite. I did have a bit of food envy, as I'd opted for octopus and salad, but they were both so delicious, it didn't really matter. After a short spell on the beach, we found out that our newly broken down hire car wasn't being replaced as expected, so the owner of the tavern happily called up a taxi for us and gave us some more rosé while we waited for it - what a gem. Incidentally, it was around 5pm by then and there was no queue, so if you want a late lunch, that may be a good time to go.

No reservations means you nights have to wait for a table but it’s worth it once you get inside & sample the fantastic food & incredible vistas all served by attentive staff. Special mention to the big guy in the Hawaiian shirt who’s photographic memory of the waiting queue is impressive as is the cold wine served on the house for those in line. A no unforgettable experience.

Mykonos is well known to be a party island, but food wise they do pretty good too. For example Kiki’s Taverna: hard to find, hidden on a hilly top the restaurant makes you feel like you just discovered one of Mykonos’s best kept secrets. Although not a secret at all, it is so worth the search. The restaurant gives you an immediate feeling of happiness, you can smell the food from a distance, always get a warm welcome by the owner, who is usually sitting out front in a floral shirt making sure everyone is being taken care off. When the wait is a bit longer, you even get a free glass of wine or rosé on the house. Besides the wonderful food, the view is also to die for. Overlooking the beautiful Agios Sostis beach and the signature white Mykonian houses, Kiki’s Taverna definitely satisfies all senses. The menu consists out of home made salads freshly made every day, fish and a bit of meat. I loved their home made bread too. We ended up going 4 times, and loved every single visit. Also, they take food allergies very serious, something I really appreciated and felt valued by. See pictures for mouthwatering details. A must visit when in Mykonos 10:10

Hey everybody sitting in ki ki tavern at this present moment read some of the bad review. Yes you have to wait for a table and not leave the line, which he does tell you. He has a photographic memory of the order of the waiting list and is very fair. Once inside the food is prepared quickly and its incredibly delicious we ate chicken thighs. From the size of them the chicken must of had a good life which is a good thing they where tender and delicious. Salads where amazingly good and the best grilled aubergine I have ever eaten. It’s a Mykonos thing do do. Highly recommend and worth the wait.

We had a lovely few hours in this beautiful location. We took the advice of others and arrived very early (10:30) we had a little swim in the cove before we headed up to start the queue for lunch. We were the first in line and within 15 minutes the owner had all the seats allocated to eager (but patient) customers. We were seated and looked after by a friendly waitress. We feasted on Taramasalata, fresh salad and the meatiest octopus and squid we have ever tasted EVER all cooked on a BBQ grill as the restaurant down not have electricity! all washed down with a litre of house wine. The queue never went down the whole time we were there, 1 person out 1 person in. But don't let the waiting put you off, the owner serves small glasses of wine which you can enjoy in the sun (or shade) whilst you wait, over looking a beautiful view of crystal blue waters. The beach, although busy is still peaceful and quiet where people go to sleep off their lunch and enjoy a snorkel/swim.

We waited 1 hour for a table, the free cup of wine while you wait is a great touch and the owner is a really nice guy to chat to while you wait. It was all going so well and we were excited for our meal but were let down by a few things. It took about 30 min to order and then when the food arrived the portion sizes were really small for the prices. The eggplant dish definitely needs a side to make it enough for a meal. 2 of our party ordered the prawns - you get 4 uncleaned prawns with a small salad. Great views, but food was a let down. Sorry.

Overrated due to its idyllic setting. Tsatsiki was flavorless. Greek salad didn’t even have oil. Flies and mosquitoes were so annoying that it impacted ability to eat in peace. Whole party spent meal waving off flies and swatting mosquitoes. Main dishes such as sea bass, chicken, prawns looked appealing but were mostly flavorless. Massively overpriced. 200 euros for family of five who didn’t even drink alcohol. Never, ever sit in corner table farthest from sea view. Mosquito central. On the up side, service was great and the owners are magnificently kind. Some basic fixes such as mosquito coils, fly eradication, using any spices whatsoever, and eliminating the price gouging of tourists would make it five star. All the current five star reviews…..something is not right about that.

Cool and very authentic place. They serve perfectly grilled meat and seafood dishes. Several homemade signature salads. Family managed and the owner makes sure you feel great. We had a great time and can definitely recommend the place.

You need your own transport to get here really and you need to queue, first come first served, but well worth. Great value great local food. Friendly and efficient service. Huge dishes. You can swim in the small sandy cove below the restaurant or the larger beach just round the corner. One of you needs to claim a place in the queue about 45 minutes before they open or you will queue for about 1h30 to eat after people start to leave. The queue lasts all day. But it is a great beach and a great restaurant.

This was the best restaurant we went to on Mykonos. All the restaurants here are quite affordable, but Kikis is quite cheap with high quality food. We ended up going a little overboard and ordered way too much. We had enough leftovers for a full course meal for dinner. We didn't really like the vibe in Mykonos compared to Santorini, but would come back just for this restaurant.

Really nice food with great view, you need to queue most of the time you’ll get there but it is worth it. The owner is always outside and get you some drinks while waiting, he is treating everybody fair. This is what should happen in 2020, same treatment for every person. We will go back every time we’ll visit Mykonos.

Definitely recommend Kiki's and recommend getting there early. We were there around 11 and walked down to the beach. About 11:20-11:30 we grabbed a bench and were the second group in line. They come out and take down how many in your group and one person for the group needs to stay in line. This wasn't too bad and the hour went by pretty fast. Our patience was rewarded with a table overlooking the beach/water. The salad bar is great! you get to pick two different kinds and they load up the plates. I had the pork chop which came with a baked potato. The chop was huge and delicious. Definitely recommend a visit to Kiki's and to get there early so you can be part of the first seating.

We were told Kikis had the best octopus on the island and boy they didn’t lie! Everything was cooked to order and absolutely 100% fresh from the sea. They BBQd the octopus and managed to cook it perfectly. Simple ingredients of octopus + salad leaves + tomato + olive oil + lemon juice = perfection. The waiting staff are super friendly and very genuine in their approach. The authentic service really gives customers a welcome feeling and not a feeling of “here’s another tourist!” A special shout out to Paris who was an absolute delight!! Only slight downside was the waiting time for our food so if you go there, don’t arrive TOO starving as you won’t be eating food until around 1,5 hours after you arrive, inclusive of average table waiting time. But you can forgive this as food is cooked to order and tastes so damn good. After our meal, we walked down to the sea for an evening swim. The sun had not yet set so the water was still warm and really clear. You can see the fish from the surface. It’s stunning! Definitely take time to come to Kikis and then spend time on Agios beach. You’ll have a perfect day!
