A.C. Perch is an institution in Copenhagen. The tea shop has been the same for over 100 years and is beautiful. We tried the classic tea with the British style tiered caddy for the tea foods. It had three types of sandwiches: salmon, crustacean salad...More

This tea shop is so wonderful - just like in the old days. Beware you might have to stand in line outside because the shop is so tiny - but what an experience- a walk into tea heaven. Great service ! Next door there is...More

I went here as part of a Bachelor´s party. We order 3 perch´s ceremoni for 225 dkk each. It includes 3 pots of tea and several plates with pastries and sandwich. Neat and nice. I strongly recomend it.

We chose the "Perch's classic ceremony" which has all one can wish for: sandwiches, scones, cakes and tea, of course. All is high quality, ambience and surroundings are authentic, and service is generally fine, albeit a bit stressed. The noise level can be a bit...More

We can definately recommend our tea room for a light lunch or as a five o clock tea. We are not at typical breakfast place. Menu consist mainly of finger sandwiches, scones and small cakes. Looking forward to wellcoming you.

Description
A.C. Perch's Tea Shop & Tea Room is the oldest tea shop in Europe. Niels Brock Perch opened his little shop in Kronprinsensgade 5 in the year 1835, and it hasn't changed since. Naturally, the shop has been renovated since then, but apart from electric light and some staff, everything has stayed tea same. The Perch family owned the shop until 1894, when the Hincheldey family took over. Today the 4th generation is in charge of the shop, and not seldom 3 generations operate behind the counter at the same time. Because the shop is a family business, we have been able to serve our customers personally, - which means that the customers are familiar with the faces behind the counter. It is our deepest wish that the customers feel welcome here, and politeness and friendliness are some of our major deeds.
