4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2015 via mobile

Very nice and peaceful place located right on the canal on Christianshavn. Very quiet and wonderful place to chill in the sun while enjoying a delicious Sicilian ice cream. If you are danish (or like liquorice) then go for it. Otherwise try their hazelnut or other flavor from product from Sicily. Too bad they don't have the ice cream sandwich... More

A lovely little place. Great flavour and great staff. We chatted with the lady before she was open about places to try for lunch but promised to return for dessert. Were we ever glad that we did. The chocolate was to DIE for and the coconut was nice and creamy. We liked the map to be able to pin that... More

We were looking for good ice cream and could only see the industrial ones - no way! We found out about this ice cream shop. Really good. Owner is a very nice couple that immediately invited us to put a pin on a big world map hanging on the Wall. We were the first clients from Lisbon! Very helpful chat... More

This gelato shop has two locations. We went to the one in Christiasnhavn. It's a tiny place with friendly staff. There is a wide selection of flavors, some conventional, and the others unique (at least for us) like licorice, which turned out to be refreshing and delicious! The texture was creamy and almost had the gooey texture of Turkish ice... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
