Went here for a business lunch late feb. The menu is different and genuine bistro food with a danish twist. Both my colleague and I had the burger - which was nothing short of excellent - and great value even at 149 dkk!! This is probably the best burger I have ever enjoyed (apart from my homemade burgers grilled over... More

We were there with a party of 7. The food was delicious all around but the service was very very slow. We had to wait ½ hour just to gets our drinks ordered before the food. The food took forever. I managed to get a cup of coffee fast but only because I ordered it with a "only if you... More

Wow, such an amazing experience. One of the best soups I have ever had (cauliflower), the pork cheeks so tender and tasty and to end apple crumble to die for. Incredible service also. A must!!

We came here for lunch and had not the best start when entering the restaurant. We waited for 10 minutes while being watched by 2 waiters who did not bother to show us a table. It was only when I put some effort in myself that they showed helpful. Once seated the waiters were very friendly though. We had the... More

I took the wife for a meal at our local restaurant. Never tried before and thought it time to give it a go. We were seated near the kitchen which was a little loud as there is no door between and when the chefs burnt something it came into the restaurant. We weren't the only ones to look to make... More

I ate here twice...because it was by where I was staying in Island Brygge. It was enjoyable and satisfactory. It was nice to sit outside at the tables and watch the street (although it is a quiet residential street) The service was good and the price was average.

Been here twice and the first time we got told to order the same to make it easier for the chef. Decent enough food tho. Second time the place was full and we got told to just wait a few min in the bar with a coffee in the meantime. We waited in the bar for over 15 min without... More

This establishment works booth as café and restaurant. I experienced the restaurant part. I have order a main course dish - lamb. It was served with potatoes and sliced cabbage and a nice portion of lamb on top of it. It was very tasty. The atmosphere for dining is welcoming as well as the staff members. I will undoubtedly recommend... More

Visited Cafe Alma for a breakfast, as it was Sunday, they were only serving brunch. We've waited over an hour for our coffee which was followed 15 min later by a very medioka and cold food. We've asked several times for a missing cutlery unfortunately it hasn't arrived. For 125DKK (drinks not included) per person, don't waste your time or... More

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
