Open every day throughout the year. Fantastic food, great beer and friendly staff and customers. A 'go to' location for us when we are on the boat. So popular, in peak season ring ahead and book a mooring.

You can't go wrong with The Ferry. We are lucky to have two superb pubs in this nearby village. Ale is well kept, food portions are generous and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Dog and kid friendly, can be a squeeze inside but ample...More

We actually came here looking for a place to put our kayaks in for a paddle. The pub landlady was just opening up so we asked her and she was so nice. Without asking for anything in return, she said it was fine to leave...More

10 of us visited for Sunday Lunch. Food and service was excellent. Menu offers a good variety of meals - we all had different meals and everything was cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit!,

The burger meals are not cheap! The meat Pattie was dense and massive, BUT had no seasoning in it, it was grisly and dry. We ordered cheeseburgers and all that was in the slightly soggy roll was the giant beef Pattie and cheese. No salad,...More

My only complaint is that the portions are almost embarrassingly large. There are not many people in the World who could comfortably consume a 3 course meal here. The chicken and leek pie was huge, enough for two people really. But the landlord seemed to...More

Moored up here for the night, lovely welcoming pub and lovely food. Lots to choose from and good veggie selection. Good puds too 😊 Very friendly and so worth a stop off for dinner if on the broads.

The pub does allow dogs and so does Coldham hall which is also in Surlingham village. Both pubs are by the waters edge and both do good food. If eating two nights go to both. If eating one night I would choose Coldham hall.

The Ferry House on the bank of the river Yare with beer garden and mooring points right outside. A British pub at its best with reasonably priced, rollicking good wholesome pub grub - very large portions ask for wimp size!
