You go to La Tchepe for oysters. Don't go for anything else (well maybe the crepes as dessert). But go for the oysters. If you love oysters, you will love Tchepe. The service is minimum, no reservations, no frills. But go there on a sunny winters day and eat oysters. Just eat oysters. You will love it, and it will... More

This restaurant is in the little harbour of Bouzigues. Dammage the is no sea view. The are parking places just in front. It is a basic rstaurant. Price is prior than the quality.

La Tchepe is probably the most direct "from the sea to the consumer" restaurant in the area. If you dont mind the almost non existant "décor", if you want to have sea food, local wine and nothing else, this is the place to go. Prices are reasonnable, service is fast and efficient and, above all, the quality of the products... More

Using Tripadvisor, we chose this establishment from the many in Bouzigues that were offering oysters - we were lucky in that it was a warm and sunny day when we could also enjoy the view across the etang; we enjoyed a very relaxed meal when we shared the "special plate" which was based around some delicious oysters and included a... There are a number of places in Bouzigues selling shellfish directly to consumers. We chose to buy oysters from La Tchepe to take-away as we were staying in a holiday apartment just around the corner from the restaurant. Prices were very reasonable for the excellent quality. A dozen of No. 2 Bouzigues oysters cost Euro7.50. The oysters were absolutely fresh,... More

We were introduced to "the Mussel Place" as our friends call it one warm sunny afternoon. The perfect spot to pull up a few chairs to take advantage of the view, wander inside and order your choice of freshly shucked, oysters, mussels, clams including some I had never seen before. They are delivered in minutes complete with bread and of... More

We arrived in Bouzigue at 2.30 pm after our GPS took us on the scenic route from Sete to find all of the up market restaurants closing for the afternoon. However Le Chez la Tchepe opens from mid morning to late evening without a break so we decided to lunch there. Firstly this is not a restaurant in the normal... More

An oyster fan we had met on our travels had recommended this place to try Bouzigues seafood. If you are expecting table linen and silver service you will be disappointed, this place is in the business of producing and serving up spanking fresh oysters from their beds with no frills but with lots of smiles and carafes of local chilled...
