We booked online after reading some great reviews about this place. We certainly were not disappointed! Even though the menu is small, the food was prepared and cooked to sheer perfection! Due to the exclusive number of tables, diners benefited from an attentive and personalised service. Staff took seriously the threat of Covid 19 by individually labelling hand towels for use in the bathroom - this was a nice touch. The chef took time between servings to speak to each table to receive feedback, which again highlights their focus on listening to the customer regarding each dish. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and it is fully deserving of its number one rating!

We had read all the reviews and booked a table and were very much looking forward to our dinner.
We were definitely not disappointed. It is a very small, cozy restaurant and we were seated so we could have a look into the kitchen. The food was amazing, so tasteful and the service friendly and attentive.
Do yourself a favor and make your reservation if you are in Borgholm.

We were here for the first time
Amazing food prepared by Jonas in the middle of this small room that can accommodate only 16 guests.
The three courses are timed with wonderfully good wines if you take their wine package.

What a wonderful and unexpected experience. From the moment of arrival throughout the meal, the food and service were impeccable. If you are going to Borgholm, you need to get a reservation, you will not be disappointed. It was such a special evening, we gave the chef and server a standing ovation!!

Brought really old friends who have not had the privilege to try Jonas cooking / flavor combinations. They were lyrical after this three course! The starter with truffles was outstanding, not everyone can find the right balance with the truffles. The char was fantastic and the wine with the fish was perfect. Yes the white was absolutely wonderful! The pig was just as good and the wine became a new favorite. Chocolate is far too weak for, so dessert was not far behind.. Thank you Jonas for another fantastic evening!

This is the second time I have been here and it's always brilliant.
If you're visiting Öland and want an exciting, flavoursome, thought out delicious menu using local ingredients and influenced by swedish cuisine, then this is the place to go.
The restaurant is really small so book ahead.
It's a personal experience, as you are welcomed like a friend, and each diner is personally visited by the chef during the meal.

Book your table in advance, otherwise you woun´t come in.
Just around 16 seats and the kitchen and chef is right in front of you.
Small menue, but GREAT food and wines!
Durng winter time - I´m sorry to say - it´s closed.
But next summer... :)

Delicious well thought out food. Lovely atmosphere and personable service . Felt like you were having dinner at a friends place ( a friend who was amazing at cooking !) . You won't regret booking here and go for the wine package which is excellent value !

We truly enjoyed our dinner at the Tradgardsgatan 26. We went for the 3-course dinner menu with a pre-selected wine combination. The food was amazing accompanied with carefully selected drink for each course. The atmosphere and service were great as well, the host being there and answering all our questions and the chief asking our opinions for every dish we tasted. The place is charming, quite small, but very cosy and warm. We strongly recommend it & will definitely come back.
