Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Honestly, the worst Indian food we've ever had. Four mains ordered and all terrible. Rogan Josh was so bland, no fresh tomatoes predominantly tasted of slightly spiced tomato juice. Pathia honestly tasted of bbq sauce. They'd obviously added it to the dish but definitely not...in a subtle way. Sweet, sticky rubbish, and definitely nothing like a Pathia should be. Truly disgusting. Chicken tikka balti came out creamy, like you'd expect a tikka masala to be. Most bizarre, poor tasting chicken tikka balti I've ever tried. Unbelievably poor all round, and seriously expensive compared to many other places nearby. All in all, very overpriced, cheaply made food. There's plenty of other places nearby, go to one of those instead!More

This was hands down the worse curry we've ever tried. We test many local restaurants and wouldn't recommend. Bland, watery and full of oil is the only way to describe. Wouldn't recommend.

We dropped in en route from the south coast to Cheshire, it was a rare opportunity to introduce my kids to an old haunt from my younger days. They were very excited as I’d often told them how good a Balti Towers curry was. They...weren’t disappointed! We had a very friendly welcome from Syd, his brother (sorry, I forgot his name) and the staff, and the service was excellent, as usual. The food was superb - 5 empty balti dishes testifying to this - even my fussy 10 year old enthusiastically polished off his chicken balti with rice and some naan bread. We spent quite a lot for our meal, but it is more than worth it - you don’t get a curry this good cheaply. Would I recommend Balti Towers? Absolutely yes, and if you’re a bit particular about how you want your food, talk to them, they will happily tailor your food to how you want it.More

Ordered takeaway for the family. Recommend people avoid to save disappointment (and I don’t often review). Regular curry man for 30 yrs. Shop bought nann, bland (really bland) curries. The Nann was inedible at best - garlic not even cooked. Save time and money and...put your leftover Sunday roast in a pasta sauce! (If you over cook your chicken and grab some boil in the bag rice). Fawlty Towers not Balti Towers.More

Dinner was excellent, literally second best meal of the year. My two friends agreed, and the waiter, Karen, was no less than excellent too, very friendly . Definable going back next time I’m in Cabo Roig. Best regards, Your Norwegian Friends

It's been a very long time since we last ate here and unsurprisingly it has had a substantial face-lift. They have done a good job but they can't do anything about the layout which is quite 'cosy'. This could be an issue if you are...looking for a quiet night out and the table next to you is in party mode. We enjoyed our meal and I particularly liked their home style of cooking. Judging by the amount of people there I am not the only one. Surprisingly there was a slight problem with the poppadoms but this was quickly and courteously sorted. The oversized sheekh kebab starter was a bit on the hot side for the wife but I enjoyed it. There were no issues with the mains or sides, especially the pilau rice which was mercifully free of food colouring. Service was pleasant and attentive throughout, surprisingly so given how busy it was. It's not cheap, prices have gone up everywhere but you can take your own alcohol which is obviously a bonus. Parking was a bit of a problem but eventually managed to squeeze in on a service road. We won't leave it so long before our next visit.More

Hadn't been to this restaurant in a few years. Was pleasantly surprised how it had changed. It had been refurbished, and the staff made you feel very welcome. We ordered starters and mains and were happy with the quality of the food. The portion sizes...were pretty large too. The prices are a little higher than expected but it was still worth giving a 5 star rating. Will definitely be returning again.More

We decided to visit Balti Towers as I hadn’t been since it’s refurb and thought my wife would like it. The atmosphere and ambience is nice and on time we was shown to our table. There wasn’t my fav on the starters but when I...asked they said they do the nargis kebab. My wife had the Shami kebab. My wife’s starter was over cooked and rock hard. We showed the waiter and he too picked it up and banged it on the plate and agreed. Mine was no moist and over cooked but it was edible. The mgr took the shami off the bill. Our mains was both really salty and over cooked and was sticking to the sides as if it had been kept hot under a grill. We spent nearly £50 with drinks which would have been ok if the food had been good. We should have complained further. They asked if we wanted to take our food home but it wasn’t something that we could have eaten anymore. Hate complaining but businesses need to know and with this food which might be ok for some but the chef needs to address the std and especially salt content.More

This place is outstanding, we have been coming here for many years and it just keeps getting better. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the food is of an unbelievable standard for reasonable prices. The Punjabi lamb is the best dish...I’ve had in 30 years of eating curries across the globe. Highly recommended- great food, lovely people.More
